KONTEC KSO single-acting clamping vise for small parts:
The all-rounder for small parts
Enhance application range!
Now in sizes 40 and 100.
Simple precision
The KSO is SCHUNKs specially-developed single-acting clamping
vise for small parts. Its fundamental principle is based on an
encapsulated spindle drive which quickly and simply brings
the jaws to the desired clamping position. The workpieces are
held securely in O.D. or I.D. clamping by means of the appro-
priate tightening torque. The long jaw guidances ensure
maximum precision during clamping by reducing lifting of the
jaws and workpiece when the clamping force is applied.
Two new sizes
The inclusion of sizes 40 and 100 and the large, modular range
of jaws make the KSO in the previous size of 65 a real all-
rounder for small parts when producing either raw parts or
finished parts. The full metal housing for the spindle removes
the need for time-consuming maintenance and cleaning.

change in less than one minute.
Optimal variability
A new feature is the optional modular protection sleeve system.
With a closed protection sleeve or depth stop, the ROTA-S plus
2.0
can be adapted very quickly and optimally to the clamping task.
The highlight of this system is the manual arbor, driven by the
chuck jaws. This enables high-precision clamping of even small
inner diameters.
Maximum user friendliness
In optimizing the system, the focus was on operating safety:
The display pin was placed on the chuck body for optimal
performance. The jaw securing device helps to completely
eliminate operator errors. The improved lubrication system
guarantees constantly high clamping forces.

Workholding Technology
Energy efficient!
Due to lightweight construction.
Low-maintenance due to permanent lubrication
The hermetically sealed ROTA NCL lathe chuck is completely
filled with oil to guarantee permanently high and constant
clamping forces in daily use. An absolutely new feature is the
cylindrical guiding of the base jaws, which enables even
transfer of force to the base body.
ROTA NCL power chuck:
Energy-efficient and low-maintenance
The special advantage: Low mass
The extremely weight-reduced universal lathe chuck is up to
35% lighter compared with conventional power chucks. This
means that the ROTA NCL not only significantly reduces energy
consumption, but also prolongs the life of the machine spindle.
Large through-bore
The ROTA NCL is the first low-maintenance, permanently lubri-
cated lathe chuck from SCHUNK with a large through-bore.

Claw Jaws
Chuck Jaws
Claw jaws:
For larger chucks
Trust SCHUNK!
The only provider of claw jaws for
larger chucks.
Largest standard dimension
Claw jaws add bite to workpiece clamping. With the new claw
jaw dimension for 630 manual clamping and quick-change
chucks, SCHUNK is setting a new benchmark in the standard
segment. It is the only provider in this range. The advantage
is that claw jaws can be delivered from stock, at low prices
and quickly, instead of chuck jaws in special design.
More bite in workpiece clamping
Claw jaws are used to securely clamp workpieces when large
torques have to be transmitted. In the process, the sharp,
claw-like serration on the claw jaw presses into the surface
of the workpiece.

ADR
Chuck Jaws
ADR jaw turning ring set:
safety, precision, time savings
Plug & work!
No fitting bore needed.
Clever design
The compact, lightweight and attractively priced ADR turning
ring sets make childs play of precise turning or grinding of soft
chuck jaws. Instead of a variety of different rings, the SCHUNK
turning ring sets mean you only need a few turning washers to
implement clamping diameters for O.D. clamping in 2 mm
steps. The necessary individual dimension is defined using
three bolts that are screwed around the circumference of the
washers before machining.
Expanded clamping diameter range
Since no fitting bores are necessary, the turning washers can be
used in an instant as a plug & play option. For intermediate
diameters, the bolts can be milled. The bolts are available as
additional spare part sets. The turning ring sets are available
in two sizes, for diameter ranges of 25 mm to 250 mm and
250 mm to 520 mm. They can be delivered in a handy transport
box, on request.

Graded in 2 mm steps
Optional transport box for easier transportation
