The following themes will be covered during the workshop:
1. Preparations needed before commencement of the End-of-Program Evaluation

2. Review of progress & performance of projects and associated M&E activities. In this case, all the M&E Officers
will be required to provide a detailed narrative report as well as make PowerPoint presentations. These reports
as well as the presentations shall focus on:
a) General impacts of SIMLESA interventions, including levels of adoption of selected varieties
b) Selected Case Studies on impacts of SIMLESA
c) Progress made towards achieving targets set in the PMP (per key performance indicator & milestones)
d) Key lessons learnt in the implementation of SIMLESA

3. Identification of modalities for documenting Impact Case Studies

4. Identification of critical data collection and analysis challenges and gaps

5. Development of Action Points to address these gaps. In this case, the participants will identify common data
quality issues, and therefore devise ways of addressing them before the commencement of the Evaluation. This
will further be supported by bullet point #7 below.

6. Documentation, filing & archiving of M&E data. In this case, the participants will agree on the common
mechanisms of organizing M&E data, including formats of data storage and archival. In the meantime, all the
M&E Officers are expected to start ensuring that proper filing of all M&E information is done.

7. Finalization of Workplan for fast-tracking documentation of SIMLESA impacts
