Went to leadership camps, got leadership awards at camp, mentoring
other cadets, perform mission with squad, teach soldier skills to new
cadets, go to field training exercises over the weekends, leadership
conference, and work with active military soldiers.

Nurse Summer Training Program (NSTP) 6/13-7/13
Womack on Ft Bragg, North Carolina
Cadet Preceptorship through cadet command
Worked side by side with an Army nurse on the mother baby unit at
Womack Army Medical Center and completed 150 clinical hours.
Performed RN functions such as new born assessments, postpartum
mother assessments, PKU and new born blood screening, discharge
teaching to patients, charting, inservice about baby reflexes, and other
nursing skills while under the supervision of the Army nurse.
