Rated Institutions financial strength gradation
Positive or negative gradation reflects the strength of the assigned grade. That is, if at least one of the subgrades for the rated areas is above the general
rating, the gradation could be positive. In the same way, if at least one of the subgrades for the evaluated areas is below the general rating, the gradation
could be negative.
An A+ rating will be assigned if the necessary efforts to exceed the weaknesses of the institution are minimal in comparison with the A rating assigned.
Example of problems to be overcome quickly can be the absence of an independent director in the Board, limited internal auditing staff, changes in
incentives policy, etc.
