NOTIFICATION

Applications are invited from the eligible Indian citizens fulfilling the requisite qualification, age &
experience prescribed below for engagement of Project Fellow(s) at CIMFR, Digwadih Campus, Dhanbad for
the time-bound projects. The candidates, having following qualifications and experience may apply on a plain
paper, indicating Notification No., Name, Fathers name, Sex, Date of birth, Qualification (percentage of
marks & year of passing from Matric onwards), Category (SC/ST/OBC/PH/Women/UR), Address (Permanent
& Correspondence along with contact No: viz Mobile/Landline No. & E-mail address), Experience etc. and
Details of relationship with CIMFR / CSIR employees and Signature of applicant along-with copies of all
testimonials and certificates duly attested by a Gazetted officer and a self-attested passport size photograph.
The other details are as under -

1. Name of the Position : Project Fellow

2. Number of Position : 10 (Ten)

3. Qualification : a) M.Sc in Chemistry with minimum 55% marks- 04 (Four)
b) B.E or B.Tech in Chemical Engineering with minimum 55 %
marks- 03 (Three)
c) B.E or B.Tech in Mechanical Engg with minimum 55% marks-
01 (One)
d) M.Sc in Microbiology with minimum 55% marks- 01 (One)
e) B.E or B.Tech in Biotechnology with minimum 55% marks-
01 (One)
Candidates must be NET/GATE qualified in relevant subjects.

4. Age : Not more than 28 years as on 05.08.2013, which is relaxable upto 5
years for SC/ST/OBC/Women/PH.

5. Stipend : Rs. 16,000/- (Sixteen thousand only) p. m. (consolidated) +HRA
(Wherever possible accommodation will be provided to the
Selected candidates, other wise HRA will be paid as per rules)

6. Project Duration : Upto March, 2017/Co-terminus with the Project.

7. Project Title(s) : a) Clean Coal Technology (TAPCoal).
b) Development of zero waste technology for processing and
utilization of thermal coal (ZWT-CUP).

In addition to above, a panel will also be prepared for engagement of Project Fellows under the
aforesaid projects, any other ongoing and upcoming projects as per requirement at this Institute. Application
completed in all respects, should reach the Director, Central Institute of Mining & Fuel Research, Barwa Road,
Dhanabd- 826 015 on or before 05.08.2013. Incomplete applications/applications of such candidates who
donot possess the prescribed qualification and age on the closing date of receipt of applications or applications
received after closing date shall be rejected straightway. Dispensary facilities for self only at CIMFR
Dispensary will be extended to selected candidates as per rules. No Travelling Allowance will be paid for
appearing at the Interview. Hindi may be used as a medium of conversation in the interview. This notification
