Building health, strength and cultivating energy

Whether your initial primary motivator is physical, emotional or spiritual, development of the 1st and
2nd chakras provides a strong foundation for deep and stable success.
2nd Chakra is the centerpoint of balance of the physical body. When mindfully developed as a
functional energy field it provides balance and equilibrium to the brain as well as the entire being. It
is located approximately 2 below the navel and 2 inward on the average frame (small intestine
area).
Through breathwork, exercise and meditation, development of the 2nd chakra:
warms and tones the intestines, restoring healthy circulation of food and blood
detoxifies the blood & optimizes nutrient absorption
revitalizes the immune system and balances organ function
deepens sleep and reduces fatigue
renews luster to skin and hair
develops core strength
builds confidence & self esteem
provides blood and ki energy circulation to extremities, reversing effects of arthritis, diabetes, high
blood pressure, fibromyalgia, MS etc
restores healthy stress response and ability to self-manage brain wave frequency
relieves excessive thinking
enhances joy, peacefulness and creativity by sequentially activating the higher chakras.

1st Principal Of Energy: Water Up Fire Down
1st chakra is located at perineum, midpoint between the anus and genitals and inward. You can
develop sense of as well as strengthen the 1st chakra by relaxing and contracting the anus muscle.
When the 1st chakra is strong the energy flow through the legs can be controlled and refined
physical energy developed by the 2nd chakra can be routed up the spine for further refinement of
course energies (emotional & spiritual character traits) and development of the upper chakras.
If the 1st chakra is weak, energy is scattered through this area, resulting in poor focus, fatigue
and physical weakness. This applies to everyone, but is generally more extreme in women whove
born children due to stretching of this region. This is easily remedied with awareness, posture and
toning (anal contracting exercise).

Combined with Intestine exercise, belly drumming will help the intestines become toned (soft &
flexible) for abdominal breathing. This exercise stimulates, strengthens, softens the intestines and
awakens the drum (2nd chakra). As you accumulate energy in your abdomen you will experience an
enhanced sense of confidence and wellbeing.
If you eat too much meat or have poor eating habits, the food does not digest well, and stagnates in
the intestines. This results in constipation and other gastrointestinal problems. Toxins form, which
are often responsible for lethargy, headaches and skin problems. Peristalsis becomes compromised
and causes age acceleration. Belly drumming helps to relieve this condition and restore normal
peristaltic movement.
1. Stand with your feet shoulder width apart and your knees slightly bent. Lengthen and relax your
spine. Relax your shoulders, neck and arms.
2. Place your open hands or your fists on your lower abdomen and begin patting in a rhythmic motion.
Increase the pressure of patting until it becomes a (reasonable) striking motion and repeat. As
your abdomen becomes stronger, gradually increase the repetitions to 8 10 minutes. Practice
daily.
*Belly Drumming is a key exercise to release the effects of excessive thinking and restores
the autonomic nervous system, creating water up, fire down energy condition. >>see 1st

Intestine Exercise

Breath and internal massage of the organs combine to move toxins from the internal organs, creates
water up fire down energy condition and effectively strengthens and cultivates energy in the Dahn
jon (2nd chakra)
Does your breath flow comfortably and deeply, creating peace and joy in the present moment?
Abdominal breathing is only effective if the intestines are soft and flexible. Most people, when they
begin Meridian exercise have cold & stiff intestines.
The lower abdomen is filled with the small and large intestines, which together hold about one third of
the bodys blood volume at any given time. Therefore, a smooth and unimpeded flow of blood
through the intestines is important for efficient circulation of both energy and blood in the body.
The underlying cause of health problems are the toxins within our internal organs. Unhealthy eating
habits and excessive stress cause your intestines to become cold and stiff, which prevents food from
being completely excreted, which then releases toxins. This is called autointoxicationself-
poisoning by the bodys own toxins. This also negatively impacts the proper absorption of nutrients
and minerals from the healthy foods we eat.
Intestine Exercise stimulates your intestines and improves peristalsis of the colon, which removes the
feces along the walls of the intestine and relieves constipation. Because one-third of your bodys
blood flows through your abdomen, Intestine Exercise is great not only for your abdomen, but for the
circulation of your entire body. As the solar plexus is stimulated, bladder and reproductive functions
are often enhanced, improving even feminine illnesses caused by cold energy. Your skin may also
improve as rashes, acne, and skin spots are alleviated by the release of toxins.
How to do Intestine Exercise
1.Put your hands on your lower abdomen.
2.Breathe in and push your abdomen out, feeling some pressure.
3.Breathe out and pull your abdomen towards your back.
4.Repeat 1-3 at least 50 times.
5.Count a motion of pushing out and pulling in as one.
6.Rub your abdomen clockwise.

1st Principal Water Up, Fire Down
by Arrow | Mar 12, 2011 | Principals Of Energy | 0 comments
Directing the energy to make a warm healthy body and a calm clear mind
The 1st of 3 traditional health principles, Water Up Fire Down, also referred to as the microcosmic
circuit in various yogic and traditional Chinese healing practices, offers us an important balancing
perspective.
According to this principle, cool water energy produced in the kidneys is should travel upward to the
head through an energy channel along the spine. Warm fire energy, produced in the heart, is should
travel down to the abdomen. Thus, good health is characterized by a warm belly, which is good for
the abdominal organs, and a cool head, equated with a clear mind.
Negative health consequences come with reversed energy circulation. When the energy center in
our lower abdomen is weak, its hard to hold fire energy in the abdomen. Poor stress management
constricts the chest and forces fire energy back up toward the head. Symptoms of this reversed
energy flow include a warm head, a cloudy mind, headaches, irregular digestion, anxious thoughts,
shoulder tension and is the primary precursor for most modern disease and ailment.
As water up-fire down restores the physical energy builds in the dahn jon (lower abdomen-2nd
chakra), healthy energy circulation restores in the digestive system. The bodys blood supply is
purified and nutritional absorption is optimized. Clear, fresh energy and blood circulate through the
entire body.

2nd Principal Physical Energy Builds,
Emotional Energy Purifies, Spiritual Energy
Brightens

As power builds in the dahn jon, the heart opens, the mind clears
The human being must develop in 3 ways in order to reach a state of fulfilment1
st
on the physical
level, then in terms of character the emotional level, and 3rd the conciousness spiritual level.
As physical energy builds proper energy circulation restores, tensions and old stresses in the body,
emotions and old habitual thought patterns open to be purified, cleared and released. As flexibility
returns to the body, the brain becomes more flexible as well, this is known as neuroplasticity.
By retraining oneself to focus inside and connect the cognitive mind with the physical and energy
body through the breath it becomes immediately apparent the entire human system naturally works
to rebalance. Associated mental, emotional, and physical patterns rise to the surface for elimination
and reselection purposes.
Through the power of observation related to personal habit and simple exercises to learn to control
the mind, body, emotions, and energy the practitioner reevaluates priorities and desires, and
becomes adept to empower through choice in living practice.

3rd Principal Where Mind Goes, Energy
Follows, Blood Follows, Matter Forms
by Arrow | Mar 12, 2011 | Principals Of Energy | 0 comments
The mind controls the energy, the energy controls the body
All things material manifest from the invisible, from information. Actually, the mind directs all action
through the medium of energy. Therefore the quality of information that is nurtured in the brain
determines the focus of energy expenditure, and life experience.
These 3 principals are impersonal in nature and are always in effect whether one is conscious of
them or not.
When the information from True Self governs the energy body and the physical body is healthy
emotions are rich and mature and actions are aligned with ones deepest desires.
Dr. Masaru Emoto is well known for his work with water crystals as shown below. These water
crystals were formed by information through different mediums (meditation, music etc.) and frozen
into the forms you see below. The 4 images on the left developed through positive and nurturing
messages such as love, unity, beauty etc., the image on the far right developed from the message
you make me sick.

Eighty percent of the human body is comprised of water! This illustrates how the messages we
accept as true and send ourselves and others is manifest in our body and life experience.

Chakra Training
Energy is the bridge between body and mind
The mind controls the energy, the energy controls the body. With this awareness we can awaken,
self empower, and create change. We use the body to control the mind, and the mind to control the
body. When energy circulates freely, we have a healthy body, joyful emotions (less stress), and a
peaceful, sparkling clear mind.

Energy runs through a network of pathways in the body that are called meridians. Chakras are
energy centres in the body. A chakra is a hub in which the energies of mind, body and spirit are
intertwined and sent through the meridians for use in our daily lives.
There are seven of these energy centres, running down the midline of the body. When the
chakras are functioning well, we are healthy in mind, body and spirit.
Each chakra governs a specific kind of energy related to various human attributes. In general terms
the upper chakras are responsible for spiritual ( information), the middle chakras, emotional and the
lower with our physical. As we properly circulate and balance the energies in each of theses areas
and with each other we create balance and harmony into deeper levels of awareness and peace.
By learning to pay attention to your energy system, you learn to look deeply at the underlying causes
of any physical problems and mental difficulties you may have.
Heart Drum Beat Chakra Workshop is a 3 part training program specifically targeting chakra
development and alignment. You can feel, activate, and balance all seven chakras through this
training.
