3. Toktok Palasyo Unique Land
Formation
108 Bayabas A natural rock
formation resembling a
huge castle, hence the
name palasyo. In local
legends, the formation
is supposed to be the
heads of two giants
who turned into rocks.
This is also believed to
be a burial ground for
Japanese Soldiers in
the world war II
because bones and
teeth are often found in
the site.
4. St. Paul Seminary Retreat House This is an emerging
man-made attraction of
the municipality of La
Trinidad. It provides a
perfect environment for
religious retreats and
devotees of the Sisters
of Charity. The place
has venues for
trainings and seminars
with lodging and meals.
5. Peripin Bato Unique Land
formation
108 Pico It is a potential natural
attraction found in Pico.
The limestone rocks
have different shapes
as formed in the olden
base. The top most
part provides a view of
the City of Baguio on
the east side and the
opposite view is that of
Pico and Balili.
6. Pico Fiesta Festival 602 Pico This annual event of
Barangay Pico on the

week of Decembers
highlights barangay
activities in celebration
of its foundation. The
activities include a
parade, mass, musical
concerts, medical-
missions, and variety
shows, among others.
7. Bodikewkew Spring
(also called Ladladok
Spring)
Cold Spring 802 Km.4, Pico This is a rich flowing
cold spring located at
Capjaran, Km.4. The
spring caters to its
surrounding farms, as
well as used for bathing
by the community
8. Tiongsan
Supermart
Department Store 501 Km.4, Pico A department store
established by the Lao
family which caters to
the various grocery and
market needs of La
Trinidad.
9. Pines Supermart Department Store 501 Km.4, Pico The first and oldest
Supermarket
established in La
Trinidad. It also houses
one of the most famous
restaurants of La
Trinidad, the Calajo
Food House.

Ethnicity of Population:
As per available records, aside from the original Ibaloi inhabitants of Barangay Pico,
a population from Gonogon, Can-eo, and Samoki, Bontok had emerged in numbers
especially in Sitio Bayabas and Sitio Shamolog, Pico. Kankana-ey groups from Bauko, and
Sabangan Mt. Province have also settled in many parts of Barangay Pico, notably in Sitio
Km.3, Km.4, and Km.5. In any case, local officials expect a projected growth of local
migration, not only from the different provinces of the Cordillera Region, but also from the
different provinces in the country.
Notable Tourism Partners:
The BVS Colleges at Km.5, Pico offers Bachelor of Tourism course, as well as the
TESDA training course for Tour Guiding Services (NC-II). They are currently the tourism
partners not just of Provincial Government but also for private tour and travels agencies.
