siendo as un instrumento o medio para educarse, informarse, investigar, comparar, entrenar el
cerebro, la memoria, la rapidez mental y, en general, las capacidades mentales. La tecnologa de la
informtica se convierte en una poderosa y verstil herramienta que transforma a los alumnos, de
receptores pasivos de la informacin en participantes activos, en un enriquecedor proceso de
aprendizaje en el que desempea un papel primordial la facilidad de relacionar sucesivamente
distintos tipos de informacin, personalizando la educacin, al permitir a cada alumno avanzar
segn su propia capacidad, pero la mera aplicacin de la computadora en la educacin no asegura
la formacin de mejores alumnos, pues para esto tiene que seguirse unos ciertos pasos para no
dar un mal uso a este aparato.
La computadora es Auxiliar en mtodos de enseanza.
Esto con el fin de difundir el conocimiento y mejorar la comunicacin. Facilitando as el
aprendizaje personalizado es decir que el estudiante aprende a su propio ritmo.
Se estn utilizando los programas de aplicaciones como el uso de Internet. El uso de multimedios
capacidad de integrar grficos, impresiones, audio, voz, video, animaciones, simulaciones y correo
electrnico han sido integrados en el diseo del software educativo.

La computadora en las empresas.
En estos sectores la computadora es ms que esencial, puesto que la misma facilita la labor que
hacen los trabajadores, al mismo tiempo que le conviene a la empresa o compaa de tener una
maquina computarizada que hace procesos de datos ms rpido que el humano facilitando la
salida de productos o trabajos realizados en el menor tiempo posible. Las computadoras son
empleadas para el procesamiento de Datos Administrativos. Se han automatizado las funciones
tpicas de gestin de las empresas, incluyendo tambin los paquetes integrados de oficina
electrnica, compuestos habitualmente por: procesadores de textos, hojas electrnicas, gestin
de archivos y bases de datos, correo electrnico, agenda electrnica y aplicaciones grficas.

En el comercio la computadora ayuda en el diseo y manufactura de productos, a dar forma en las
campaas de mercadeo y a dar seguimiento y procesar inventarios, cuentas a cobrar y a pagar, y

La computadora en la sociedad.

convirtindose en mquinas ms prcticas y accesible para todos y aumentando en nuestra

Otro de los usos ms comunes dentro de la sociedad es en relacin a la comunicacin con el
efecto que causa el Internet y las redes sociales que prcticamente son de uso generalizado y que
nos permiten mayor acceso a la informacin.
