Business Process Operations Management Teaching Scheme 2013

The 2 hour seminar replaces the traditional 1 hour lecture plus 2 hour tutorial with
a combined workshop with a seminar and a class brieng! The actual working on a
task within a tutorial is set as homework between each week"s workshop# with the
statutor$ homework task to be completed be%ore the ne&t class!
'n order to gain access to the assessment and submission# and hence complete
the module all students must complete at least (0) o% the statutor$ homework
tasks *+ out o% ( tasks,! This includes attendance at the rele-ant workshop to
present and discuss the work!

operations as processes and how e-aluating# managing and impro-ing these in both the public and
pri-ate organisational conte&ts dri-es the per%ormance o% an organisation! 't will de-elop their abilit$

techniAues and perspecti-es to measure# redesign and impro-e business processes and relate these
