Various helicopter shots of an all too familiar scene. A
school surrounded by Police cars, swat teams. Various
talking head pundits repeat various phrases "Breaking
news... Shots fired at McGraw High School in middle
America... No information at the time... Should we be arming
our children..?"
EXT. SCHOOL YARD - ENG CAMERA POV.
A reporter trying to quickly get herself fixed jumps into
frame.
ANDREA
How do I look?
CAMERAMAN
Good. We need to start, 3, 2, 1...
ANDREA
Hello Andrea Reyes reporting live
from McGraw High School where shots
have been fired. This is the first
school shooting of the week and we
are bringing you exclusive coverage
here on Fox 23. Lets try to get a
closer look.
Andrea quickly and secretly shimmies her way past the gate
and into the school through a back entrance. This is all
captured from the Cameramans POV who struggles to keep up.
Once inside Andrea walks quietly and whispers. Its dead
silent.
ANDREA
(whispering)
Were now inside McGraw high school
reporting live. Again shots...
Shots are heard and screams. Andrea beams with excitement.
ANDREA
Those are shot your just heard
ladies and gentlemen coming from
inside, lets go in!
As she approaches a hallway, we see 3 students run for their
lives. A forth is a little slower and BANG, gets shot in the
back, falls on the floor in a pool of blood.

ANDREA
Get this, get this!
The cameraman approaches the dead body. Andreas voice is
heard.
ANDREA
Sir, wed like to ask you a few
questions.
The Camera whips back to see Andrea yelling at the gunman
down the hall. The gunman raises his gun to aim and fires.
Andrea and Camera duck.
ANDREA
Dont shoot! Im the media! Channel
23, Andrea Reyes! Id like to ask
you a few questions!
The gunman ponders this new situation and lowers his gun.
Andrea quickly walks to the gunman mic in hand. BOBBY LEE
(17) stands poised ready to fire.
ANDREA
Hello, Andrea Reyes with Fox 23,
wed like to just ask you a few
questions.
BOBBY
Well Im kind of in the middle of
something...
ANDREA
It will just be a moment. (To
Cameraman) You still rolling?
good... So your name sir.
BOBBY
Bobby... Bobby Lee.
ANDREA
Bobby, it appears that you are in
the middles of a school shooting.
BOBBY
Yea.
ANDREA
Now, What prompted you to begin
killing your fellow classmates
today?

BOBBY

ANDREA
Obviously. Thats understandable.
Sometimes I would love to just off

ANDREA

BOBBY

ANDREA

Bobby looks at his gun.
BOBBY

(fake concerned)

Bobby trails off, as he sees some students walk by. They see
him and then run. Bobby fires, misses and runs after them.
Andrea is right behind.
ANDREA
Bobby Lee a high school student at
McGraw high in hot pursuit of
fellow classmates who wronged him.
They run around the corner just in time to see the door
close to a class room. Bobby twists the nob but its locked.
He fires and blows open the door. 2 students are at the

window about to jump. Bobby shoots one as he jumps to his
death, the other hides behind a desk. Bobby calmly. Walks
around the desk.
ANDREA
One student jumped out the window
either wounded or dead. A second is
still alive. What is your name
dear?
SUSAN
Oh my god... please dont please
dont!
BOBBY
Susie Shaw... Its good to see you.
ANDREA
Susie Shaw, what have you done to
anger Bobby.
SUSAN
I didnt. I never did anything.
BOBBY
Thats too bad. I would have loved
to do something with you. Ive had
a crush on you since freshman year.
ANDREA
Susie were you aware of this crush?
SUSAN
Crush... No! I dont know what hes
talking...
Bam! Bullet in the head. Andrea is splashed with blood.
ANDREA
Unfortunately we couldnt get a
statement from the victim. Bobby,
could we ask a few more questions
before you kill them.
BOBBY

ANDREA
Its ok. But back to you. Its
fascinating how all these high
school love crushes can quickly
turn deadly. I mean I remember in

ANDREA

BOBBY

ANDREA

BOBBY
Yea. Bullets over eBay. Its not
that expensive. You do have to
travel to some rough parts of town
sometimes. Then I got these hand
pistols.
Bobby pull out both pistol and spins them on his fingers
like a cowboy.
ANDREA
I can see youve been practicing
that.
BOBBY
Oh yea for months.
ANDREA
SO youve been preparing for this
shooting?
BOBBY
Yea I was gonna do it last year,
Then the summer came and I forgot.
Now my senior year, it was my last
chance.

ANDREA
Right, then youre off to college
and you got to find all new
enemies.
BOBBY
I dont think Ill be going to
college after this.
ANDREA
No probably not. Colleges tend to
look down upon this.
BOBBY
Which is too bad, I did really well
on my SATs.
ANDREA
Well you never know, with the right
recommendation letter...
Shots are heard. They duck behind the desk. The cameraman
whips in time to view a cop shoot and hit the Cameraman. The
POV falls and the camera lands sideways. Were still able to
see Bobby and Andrea crouched behind the desk. Bobby is now
in a fire fight. Andrea Talks to the cameraman.
ANDREA
Juan! Juan! Can you hear me? Juan
are you alive? Can you still run
camera.
No answer is heard. She gets closer to the floor and talks
at the lens.
ANDREA
Folks we are now in a fire fight
between Bobby and McGraw Police
Dept. Exciting stuff!
Andrea covers her ears from the noise. And suddenly silence.
BOBBY
Gotem.
ANDREA
Good shot kid.
BOBBY
Thanks.
Bobby is up, Andrea grabs the camera.

ANDREA
Seeing as my cameraman was shot,
Ill be doing camera and
interviewing.
Bobby walks over the dead policeman body and begins firing
into the hallway with his A-K.
ANDREA
Bobby shows no fear or remorse as
he blasts his way through police.
Suddenly Bobby is hit in the arm, He falls but manages to
get a few more shots. He quickly ducks into a class room.
Collapses in the corner. Andrea is behind him.
ANDREA
Youre hit!
BOBBY
Thanks.
ANDREA
Oh my god, is it bad.
BOBBY
Its hurts really bad.
ANDREA
What are you going to do?
He suddenly shoots at the door. He cant lift his other arm.
POLICE
(voice)
Bobby your surrounded theres no
escape.
BOBBY
Fuck you!
ANDREA
It appears the assailant Bobby Lee
is critically injured and
surrounded by Police. The final
conclusion to this shooting moments
away.
Bobby takes out his gun and puts it in his mouth.
ANDREA
Bobby, how do you feel right now?

He mumbles "Shut the fuck up". She pulls the gun out of his
mouth.
BOBBY
Shut the fuck up. God youre
annoying.
ANDREA
Im sorry Bobby, were just trying
to get the story. Your story.
Viewers at home want to know who
you are. Do you have any final
words for them?
BOBBY
Yea... stop watching TV.
Bang! His brains splatter against the wall.
ANDREA
There you have it folks, a troubled
teen meets his demise.
The police enter the room.
ANDREA
What can we take away from these
tragedies... What does it all

Bam! She is shot by the Police officer. Camera falls to
black.
