4.1 Programs of the campaign: In Campus Eent
4.1.1 Objective
Environment is the total of all surroundings of a living organism; this living
organism involves natural forces and other living beings, which provide conditions for
development and growth.
Recycling is the process of separating; collecting and remanufacturing or
converting used or wasted products into new materials. here are a series of steps to
produce new products involves in the recycling process. Recycling helps e!tend the life
and usefulness of something that has already served its initial purpose by producing
something that is useable. Recycling has a lot of benefits and importance not only to us
humans but especially to our planet. here are total three stages of recycling process
which is collecting and sorting, manufacturing, selling of the recycled products to the
consumers.
"ith the effort of recycling we are able to save the Earth; #roducts made from
raw materials that came from our natural resources should be recycled so that we can
help preserve the environment. $esides, it ta%es less energy to process recycled materials
than process virgin materials. he energy from transporting virgin materials from the
source can be saved with the effort of recycling. &urthermore, we can help to mitigate
'lobal "arming and reduce pollution as well by recycling, the program (car free day) we
proposed will contribute help increase awareness among target audience and reduce air
pollution.
4.1.* arget +udience

we would li%e to reduce the number of car gradually and this will be connected with the
ne!t event which is -ar &ree .ay.
$esides that, the university students in /niversity un%u +bdul Rahman 0/+R1,
2ampar will be targeted for the event of -ar &ree .ay. here are estimated that around
13,444 undergraduates in /+R, 2ampar. he university students in 2ampar will be
targeted is because there are a lot of students driving to campus and this will lead to air
pollution unconsciously. hus, this event is aimed to create the awareness of air pollution
among the /+R students. 5owever, there are a lot of students who are cycling to
campus as well and these students will be considered as the secondary target audiences.
,n this event, they will be appreciated as the environment lovers.
6astly, the main event of our campaign which is e!hibition will be targeting the
foundation students as well as the science students. his is due to the location of the
e!hibition will be held at the area between the bloc% . and bloc% E. here are a lot of
foundation students and science students because most of the time they are having their
class around that area. herefore, we would li%e to create the awareness of environment
pollution among them and aim to encourage them to ta%e action and participate to the
event.
4.1.3 2ey 7essage
,n order to deliver those objectives we mentioned above, there is still few of %ey
messages we wish to deliver to our target audience throughout the whole campaign.
&irst of all, we are intending to implant the idea of possibility to mobile without
vehicles such as car, this campaign are going to instill an awareness of the negative
effects of e!cessive dependence on car transportation and encourage a shift in public
attitudes towards alternative forms of mobility.
$esides that, air pollution is one of the %ey public concerns. -ars are a major
source of air pollution. here will be a cleaner air and less noise atmosphere without
overload car in traffic, demonstrate that reduction in car traffic as a result of the campaign
brings about tangible benefits in terms of air 8uality, reduction of noise pollution.
,n the other hand, promote the public transport system as a convenient and
environmentally friendlier form of transportation, and as a viable alternative to private
cars. ,t could be cheaper, faster and more convenient.
