Il territorio di Is Arenas si estende per oltre 700 ettari, completamente
ricoperto da pini e ginepri e affacciato su spiagge lunghe oltre quattro
chilometri. I fondali bassi e sicuri per i bagnanti e la vicinanza dei porti
turistici di Oristano, Torregrande e Su Pallosu favoriscono le attivit
subacquee, quelle di nautica da diporto e gli sport velici. A Is Arenas
la stagione lunga dodici mesi, grazie alla protezione dal vento
assicurata dalla pineta e grazie anche al clima, temperato anche in
inverno. Is Arenas facilmente raggiungibile: dista infatti da 100 a
140 chilometri dai principali porti e aeroporti della Sardegna.
The Is Arenas Club extends for more than 700 hectares and is
completely covered with pine trees and junipers, along a coastline
stretching for more than 4 km. The shallow, safe waters and the
nearby tourist ports of Oristano, Torregrande and Su Pallosu make it
the ideal place to enjoy all kinds of watersports, from scuba diving to
boating and sailing. The golfing season here lasts for twelve months,
since the pine trees provide a gentle breeze in summer while the
climate is mild even in winter. Is Arenas is easily reached; in fact it is
located at between 100 and 140 Km from the main Sardinian ports
and airports.

Nato oltre trentanni fa, Is Molas Resort stato il primo campo da golf
in Sardegna, e con le sue ventisette buche anche il pi grande
dellisola. Progettato da Cotton, Pennick & Partners, ha ospitato molte
competizioni prestigiose, fra cui quattro Open dItalia e un European
Volvo Master. uno dei campi pi tecnici e spettacolari di tutto il
Mediterraneo. Nella Club House si possono noleggiare car, set di
mazze e le attrezzature (tranne le scarpe). La Golf Academy di Dan
Williamson offre lezioni e corsi di golf.
Is Molas Resort came into being over thirty years ago and can pride
itself as being Sardinias very first golf course. With its 27 holes, it is
still the biggest on the island. Designed by Cotton, Pennick &
Partners, it has hosted many important competitions, including four
Italian Opens and a European Volvo Master. It is one of the most
technical and spectacular courses in the Mediterranean. At the
clubhouse you can hire buggies, clubs and equipment (not shoes). Is
Molas is also the home of the Dan Williamson Golf Academy
offering golf lessons and courses.

Inaugurato nel 1972, il Pevero Golf Club uno dei campi pi belli e
pi richiesti al mondo, con i suoi stagni naturali tra le rocce e un
sottobosco profumato di ginepro, mirto e corbezzolo. Ogni buca
diversa dallaltra; ogni punto di arrivo o di partenza diventa un
panorama da ammirare. Dal tee della buca 4, attorniato dalle rocce
levigate dal vento, si intravedono oltre il Golfo del Pevero i rilievi della
Corsica. Lunico rischio di sbagliare un colpo perch il panorama
circostante talmente bello da distrarre anche il giocatore pi
concentrato.
The Pevero Golf Club, which was opened in 1972, is one of the most
sought-after and spectacular courses in the world. Here you find
natural lagoons set amidst the rocks and the underbrush is fragrant
with the scent of juniper, myrtle and arbutus berries. Each hole is
unique and every time you tee off or reach the green, you can enjoy
wonderful views. From the Fourth Tee, set in the midst of wind-
smoothed rocks, you can admire the Pevero Gulf and even catch a
glimpse of the Corsican mountains. The only problem with all this
incredible scenery is that even the most expert and concentrated
players have to keep their eye on the ball and not on the wonderful
panorama.

Percorso inserito in un contesto di pregio paesaggistico nel Comune
di Villasimius. Lisola dei Cavoli, uno scorcio dellisola di Serpentara e
lArea marina protetta di Capo Carbonara sono solo una parte dello
spettacolo che si presenter al giocatore in attesa di colpire la palla. Il
par 70 e i 5418 metri del percorso non devono trarre in inganno il
giocatore. Tecnica e precisione rappresentano le abilit richieste per
affrontare correttamente il percorso tra emozioni e natura.
The Course is situated in a context of rare beauty in the little town of
Villasimius. Views of the Cavoli and Serpentara islands and the
environmentally protected Capo Carbonara Marine Reserve are only
part of the scenery that catches the eyes of golfers waiting to hit the
ball. Players should not be misled by the relatively short 5418 metre
(6022yard), par 70: skill and precision are the two qualities necessary
to tackle this course properly and enjoy an unforgettable experience.

development. The Porto San Paolo Golf Club enjoys a wonderful

Di recentissima apertura, uno dei tre campi pratica urbani esistenti
in Italia e confina con lOstello della Giovent. Il campo si rivolge
infatti in modo particolare agli studenti. Ha una superficie di circa tre
ettari, lungo oltre 220 metri e largo circa 1000 metri.
The recently opened Sinis Course, located close to a Youth Hostel, is
one of the only three urban practice ranges existing in Italy. In fact,
the course is particularly student-orientated. It extends over three
hectares with a length of more than 220 metres and a width of
around 1000 metres.
