Plains, Corn Belt, Mid-South and Mid-Atlantic. Who will see the most and who the
least...take a look.

The past 14 Day precipitation totals have been meager for some...at 5-25% of normal over
portions of the Corn Belt in W IA, E NE, E KS, MO, far NW and far SW IL, W KY and W TN.

than .25 inches) in 25% of IA.almost exclusively in W IA.other key Corn Belt were sub-par on recent
two week rains (less than .25 inches)...across counties in NW IL, S WI and E/SE NE. Surrounding these
counties numerous other counties have seen.50-1.5+ inches over the past two weeks.

Wednesday-Friday GFS depicted r ainfall is now expected to be heaviest (potentially exces-
sive) across NE, IA, C IL, IN and W KY. A SHARP DEMARCATION ON THE NORTHERN
END IS SHOWN IN MN, WI, N IN and C OH while 0.50-1.75 inches reaches farther south
and southeast in MO, AR, MS, WVA, VA and NC just over this 2-day mid-week period.
New CFSv2 long range modeling keeps abnormally moist soil
conditions over the Canadian Prairie, Corn Belt, mid-South, Del-
ta and Gulf States during August.from Saskatchewan to Ohio
and AR/LA to SC as well as parts of NC and VA into MA, too.
