D) Methods of Qualification

Method 1 FYP

1. FYP refers to first year premiums (1st 12th month premium) captured during the contest period, by 31
st

December 2014. FYP captured is FYP paid, approved and set in force.
2. FYP from Unlimited Credit must be at least RM 241,950, before the FYP from Limited Credit can be counted.
3. The production count for FYP is described in Table 2. It applies for MDRT, COT and TOT.

Method 2 FYC

1. FYC refers to the amount of first year basic commission received from the first year of a policy.
2. FYC does not include overriding commissions, bonuses, sales / training allowances, and other allowances.
3. FYC must be received during the contest period of 1 January 2014 31 December 2014.
4. The policy may be in force on 1 January 2014, but is not required to be in force as of 31 December 2014.
5. The policy may be in force on 31 December 2013, but is not required to be in force as of 31 December 2014.
6. FYC from Unlimited Credit must be at least RM 80,650, before the FYC from Limited Credit can be counted.
7. The commission count for FYC is described in Table 3. It applies for MDRT, COT and TOT.

Method 3 Annual Income

1. Annual Income refers to the income received from 1 January 2014 31 December 2014.
2. Annual Income includes FYC, renewal commissions, bonuses, production-based compensation, deferred
compensation and overriding commissions for personal production only.
3. Annual Income does not include sales / training allowances, non-cash compensation (incentive trips), and
overriding commission from the production of others.
4. Minimum Annual Income of RM 80,650 from 1 January 2014 31 December 2014 must be from new business
cases.
5. Minimum Annual Income of RM 80,650 from 1 January 2014 31 December 2014 must be from Unlimited
Credit category.
6. Annual Income from Unlimited Credit must be at least RM 80,650, before the Annual Income from Limited
Credit can be counted.
7. The annual income count is described in Table 4. It applies for MDRT, COT and TOT.

E) Rewards Entitlement

1. The benefits can be enjoyed by MDRT / COT / TOT in 2015, if the status is achieved in 2014, are described in
Table 5.

2. An entitlement to Accommodation & Conference Fee includes the following:
Hotel accommodation on a single occupancy / twin-sharing basis.
MDRT Annual Meeting conference fee.

3. An entitlement to a Business / Economy Class Air Ticket includes the following:
Round trip group economy airfare as determined by the Company, ex-Kuala Lumpur only.

4. An allowance of RM300 per ticket utilized will be given to qualifiers from East Malaysia only, to cover travel and
accommodation expenses.

5. MDRT qualifiers may convert a European Convention Trip ticket into a RM10,000 cash allowance, to cover
Accommodation and Economy Class Air Ticket, on a reimbursement basis.

6. The registration fee, conference fee, accommodation cost and air ticket cost is subject to clawback, in the event
the qualifiers production (Method 1 FYP) drops below MDRT requirements due to cancellation / refund of
premiums within 6 months from the end of the contest period.

F) Cash In Lieu Arrangements

Cash in lieu arrangements for all MDRT / COT / TOT rewards are not allowed.

G) Other MDRT Ticket Arrangements

1. MDRT tickets cannot be downgraded or converted to any other Convention Trip tickets.

2. Extra tickets to MDRT Annual Meeting USA cannot be purchased.

3. Qualifiers who utilize their tickets must follow the Companys flight arrangements.

H) General Provisions

1. Only new business cases originally credited to a Life Planner / Leader will be counted. Transfer of cases or
assignment of production from one Life Planner / Leader to another, will not be allowed at any stage.

2. Life Planners / Leaders who are terminated for one reason or another during the qualifying period will
automatically cease to participate.

3. Qualifiers who are terminated by the Company before the rewards are disbursed, will have their rewards forfeited.

4. Rewards won by Life Planners / Leaders are strictly not transferable and not redeemable for cash.

5. The Companys decision on any matter concerning these rules is final.

6. The Company reserves the right to make any amendments to the existing rules & regulations, including its
positioning, as and when deemed necessary.
