Dear Sir:
WARM GREETINGS!
Our Bachelor in Secondary Education Major in English 3-2D is now enrolled in Field Study 3: Technology in the Learning Environment which is a component of the new Pre-service Teacher Education Curriculum that aims to expose students in actual field experiences and provide practical learning where they can observe, verify, practice, and relate theories learned inside the classroom with those experiences in a school setting.
Furthermore, our students are encouraged to give meaning to the nature and context of educational changes that have impact on teacher-education as they come face-to- face with the realities in the classroom thereby making the teacher-education program of Polytechnic University of the Philippines relevant and effective.
In this view thereof, we will appreciate it very much if you will allow our student to conduct Field Study 3: Technology in the Learning Environment every Monday/Thursday/Friday by observing selected classes and completing a minimum of 17 hours of field study at Mandaluyong High School:
Flores, Jacqueline S.
Thank you very much for giving our student the opportunity to view real examples, create their own framework, and be involved physically in a real-life situation thereby helping them promote deeper understanding of their own discipline.
