Job Title/ Role: Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst

Job Summary:

Business Intelligence (BI) Practice is one of the fastest growing groups within Analytics & Information
Management (A&IM) service-line at Wipro Technologies. It offers a wide-range of world-class service
offerings for customers located globally to help actualize their potential in the BI Value-Chain.
BI Practice deals with several contemporary and bleeding-edge technologies & themes like BI Strategy
&Visualization, Big Data &Hadoop Visualization, Visual Analytics, Mobile-enabled BI, BI-on-the-Cloud, and
Customer BI-CC (Competency Center) - hence brings in a unique differentiator to Wipro Technologies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

To formulate BI strategy & roadmap for global customers
To appreciate business processes of customer & its industry domain
To conceptualize & translate insightful BI Visualizations
To consult customers for strategically & operationally decision-making
To develop BI artifacts & standards to realize value for customers
This will entirely be a customer-facing role and will entail periodic traveling

Role Demands

BI Practice is looking for bright & ambitious candidates for the role of BI (Business Intelligence) Analyst,
which is a much-enriched version of commonly known role of Business Analyst.
The role will provide a 360-degree exposure to the professionals from the perspective of high-end
consulting, business administration, and end-to-end execution.
The role would be suited for candidates with a balanced mix of personality & academics coupled with
analytical & creative skills who also interesting in globe-trotting.
Candidates with prior pursuits in fine-arts or graphics are most welcome to apply we will evaluate
customizing the role for selected candidates to have higher weightage on creative dimensions.
Experience and skill set desired:
Candidates with no experience may apply. However prior industry experience will be a plus.
Any prior experience or knowledge in BI domain or UI / Visualization will be an advantage.
Candidates must possess excellent leadership, technical, communication, and analytical skills.






Candidates with B.E./B.Tech are invited, though we also encourage those with B.A. (Applied/Fine
Arts) with suitable experience in graphics to apply for a customized role.
Candidates should be self-starters and infectiously motivated to drive strategic engagements &
themes, while also making hands-on contributions.
Candidates with experience in Java/J2EE/Javascript, .NET or VBScripting will have an advantage.
Candidates should be willing to travel on short- & long-term basis for consulting and implementation
assignments across the global especially US, UK/Europe, Australia, Canada, and Japan
Candidates should have experience/flair to appreciate industry domain & business processes.
