in other cities and regions. In the nutshell, it is our efforts to encourage and help each other grow as God fearing youth, with deeper under- standing on the Scriptures and Biblical doctrines, a spiritual guidance to excel both in our studies and spirituality, and be a good man and woman of God for every good work back to our society. I hope this news- letter will bless one and all. In Christ, Ajay Msha BCF, Bangalore
Folks, Greetings to you all in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thanks and praise be to God always be- cause of the grace of God that was given to all of us in and through Christ Jesus. On behalf of the Bru Chris- tian Fellowships (BCF), Bangalore and Shillong in particular, it is my immense pleasure to introduce the BRU CHRISTIAN CON- NECTS newsletter. It is by the grace of our Almighty God that we could put all our efforts and publish this first newsletter. We see and acknowledge the divine plans and hands in this pro- ject. I personally believe and urge all members of BCFs to realize that it is just the dawn of this project. We have put much efforts in this and still needs much more to make this project possible. I hope and pray that this newsletter in big and small ways will connect us and bless us to grow stronger in Christ. This projects missional ob- jective is to reach the youths especially the Bru students in informing with biblical truths, Discipleship and building Christ-like charac- ters in our personal lives and also to help each other con- Editorial: To Become Man and Woman of God For Every Good Work WHY CHRISTIANITY & CHURCH? WORST HYPOCRITES ARE IN THERE! - Ajay Msha, M. Th (BCF, Bangalore) In recent times, I met a friend whom I grew up in a Christian school over a decage ago. I asked him, You and I know that Jesus is the Savior, why dont you turn to a Christian life and join a church? He answered, Yes, I think of it many times over this worldly life, I wish to become a Christian but I hate your pastor to join the church. None within his neighbors around here like his attitudes. Ah, not until this pastor goes or another Church comes in! It is not the prob- lem outside the church alone, but also on the inside as well. One major excuse that people use in their refusal to embrace Christianity or go- ing to church services con- cerns hypocrites in the Church, both past and pre- sent. People like to point to past misdeeds done in the name of Christ, and the pre- sent crisis in the life of be- lievers or church leaders. This is one of the reasons why we have people reject- ing our Church! Then, there are the pre- sent-day examples of preachers, deacons, or church leaders who have been caught in alcoholism, adulterous relationships, or some other inconsistency with what they say they believe. This type of behavior has led many to say, If thats what Christianity is all about, then I dont want any part of it. It must be admitted that there has been hypocrisy in the Church, and today we are not exempt from people who are hypocritical. A hypocrite is an actor, one who puts on a false face. He says one thing but does another. It is time for Christian to really live a holy life and be Christ-like, and becomes the light in the darkness. If any materials needs for translation, please do mention it to us. Thank you! We, as individual and Church, have turn cold to- wards sins in our talks and conversation, in our preach- ing and teaching as well. Is it because we do not want to hurt peoples feelings? Whatever may be the rea- sons, as the results of such, turn many Christians into a brood of sinners. How dis- tant we turn away from God and Godliness the Holi- ness. God says, You shall be Holy, For I the Lord Your God Am Holy (Lev. 19:2; 1 Pet. 1: 15-16). God de- mand holiness of us. We know that God is holy. Holiness is the divine at- tribute of God. How can it be that the God we wor- ship is holy, and we those who worship Him are so distant from a life of holi- ness? Look at our society and even church today, that has been so actual and active in broken mar- riages, abortions, pre- marital sex, move-in and live-in relationships, worldliness, crimes and abuse, drugs and alcoholic addictions, gambling, to name so few. The young people do not even see them as unholy. How have we lost? Folks, holiness should be our chief pursuit, not those sinful happiness. Let us flee from those ungodliness (1 Tim. 6: 11- 12; 1 Cor. 6:18-20). Unless we seek a life of holiness, God can- not use us. We must be a clean vessel for God to use us. Or do you say it does not matter even if youre not used by God? You say so you can continue unholy life No, No! You cannot be a true Christian without actually living a holy life.

Ignorant about the saving knowledge of Christ, I was a girl who lived with the worldly stuffs, pursuing what the world can offer at best for my enjoyments. I lived a miserable unforgivea- ble life. In 2010, I took bap- tism on excitements to join my friends those who were taking water-baptisms, but tionships. Being eldest in the family, I have a deeper ten- sions and responsibilities over my parents and sib- lings. My parents were not living an exemplary life either for usalways quarrels and fights and we children suf- fers the outcome of their issues. I had an affair with a non-Christian guy, against my parents will for which I was stranded and was totally knock-out of home by my parents. HOLINESS: THE FORGOTTEN CHRISTIAN CODE - AJAY MSHA (M. Folks, have you ever thought of personal holi- ness? No one is perfect, but we must be perfecting our walk with Christ always. Is there anything unholy in your lifestyle that is drifting you away from God? Invite God and be clean today (Ps. 139). God bless you! Your body is the temple of the Living God. If anyone destroy Gods temple, God will destroy them (1 Cor. 3: 16-18). Watch out Folks, temporal happiness, and not holiness is the chief pursuit of many peo- ple today, even in the Church. Those situations haunted me and made me develop many suicidal attitudes. However, my uncle supports my studies for which I need to cook and look after his children. But in all of these, God is at work. On one Sunday, March 2014 I went to Trinity Worship Cen- tre, Agartala. Aftermath the sermon preached at the church, I felt a touch of the Spirit in my heart with the double-edge sword of His Word, and I wept bitterly for transformation and revival. All believers, including the Church leaders, are fallible human beings who are prone to all types of sin. Just because a person is not perfect does not mean that he is a pho- ny. The distinction between the two is important. The failures of the believers do not invalidate the truth People can and do enter the ministry for the wrong reasons, or they can compromise the convictions of the faith. When However, just because the Church contains hypocrites does not mean that all Christians are hypocrites. With every example of hypocrisy that can be pointed to in the Church, a counter ex- ample can be pointed out show- ing people who are living con- sistently with the teaching of Jesus Christ. It is important not to confuse hypocrisy with sin. All Chris- tians are sinners, but not all Christians are hypocrites. There is a misconception that a Chris- tian is a person who claims that he does not sin, but the truth is people do this they are wrong, and the Bible denounces this clearly (Matt. 23:15). Christi- anity does not stand or fall on the way Christians have acted throughout history or are act- ing today. Christianity stands on the person of Jesus, and Jesus was not a hypocrite. He lived consistently with what He taught, and at the end of His life He challenged those who had lived with Him night and day, for over three years, to point out any hypocrisy in Him. Since Christianity de- pends on Jesus, it is incorrect JISU KHRISTO THUIYE BACHAMO DEI, JOTO BROUH RAO THUIMO NO MCHEM YE BACHANAI SEI - Pro Pastor Nangsarai Msha (M. PRAYER-POINTS That night I surrendered my life completely to Jesus and accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Week later, Pastor Johnson Kalai invited me for the Youth Retreat with Sunny Mawlong (Shillong) which fur- ther strengthen my new faith in Christ. There on, I began to grow in love with Christ, and joined as the member of the Trinity Worship Centre. More on, Dis- cipleship School of Ministry held at Mt. Zion, Teliamura with Brother Simon Day (England), New Life Ministry (Shillong) and Judahbethel further made me grow deeper in the Word of God and the work of the Spirit. Soon, the Spirit enables me to be strong enough to leave the worldly life and even move on from my ungodly affair with non- Christian guy, whom I was so in-loved with. Few weeks back, I got seriously sick and to my surprise, my parents came to see me. How God works his way out and answers my prayers were all amazing. My parents after years accepted me back and I got back their love. PERSONAL TESTIMONY (Cont) Even for one of my shoot- ings in an local video album, I was asked to complete the shooting on Sunday, which I plainly denied but they could not re-scheduled. On Saturday night I prayed to God to somehow help me go to the church, and he an- swered my prayer by mak- ing the camera-man go for some other emergency pro- ject. This is how I am expe- riencing the work of God. Today, I realize everything happens for reason. God can use all our sufferings for His plan to work out. He is my first priority in everything. I am presently a worship leader at Trinity Worship Centre. Being a blessings for people, I am really happy and Peace is within me. He has forgiven me, restores me and chosen me. Now I am ready to serve God as He had planned for me. I made a commitment to do His will. Psalm 91 is my favorite Bible passage. Please keep me and my fam- ily in your prayers! Thank you so much for talk- ing time to read what God has done in my life. God bless you! Amen!
