CONCLUSION

Today's organizations need to be more flexible so that they are equipped to develop their
workforce and enjoy their commitment. Therefore, organizations are required to adopt a strategy
to improve the employees quality of work life to satisfy both the organizational objectives and
employee needs.
The following are the major conclusions arrived at based on the findings of the study.
From the study the researcher found through using Anova that the variables of safety and
healthy working conditions like receiving regular feedback, team spirit prevails at workplace,
high priority is given to safe and effective working condition, constant pressure to meet
deadlines influences the quality of work life. As job satisfaction and security appears as stem in
building QWL and low job security has led to the intrinsic insecure work environments. Satisfied
with the training in order to perform the present job affect the work life. Women are especially
likely to experience stress as they still carry more of the burden of childcare and domestic
responsibilities than men. The study reveals the respondents with different marital, experience,
income group and having different size of family are influenced by stress at workplace is
prevailing always and presence of indifferent behavior of male superiors and colleagues. The
absence at work has significant influence on age, marital status, and family members.
It is concluded from the average score analysis that the majority of the respondents have
high hindrance towards conducive work atmosphere, provide with yearly master health check up,
superior encourages his/her subordinates to update and develop in their work, superior
encourages his/her subordinates to update and develop in their work, stress related to work
environment considered increased responsibilities results mental pressure, adverse family
relations and miss out any quality time with family or friends because of pressure of work.
Women employees are more likely to express a strong desire to have a harmonious
balance among career, family life and leisure activities. Most of the women feel to spend quality
time with family to improve work and personal life satisfaction. The factor analysis results that
satisfaction with working life is depends on comfortable personal work space, prevalence of
effective employee grievance redressal systems and provide with yearly master health check up.
Workers who give greater priority to seeking a balance between work and non-work life shows
that take care of older people, children and spouse and time spend with family/children are given
strong influence on quality of work life of women.
Work-life balance is a daily effort to make time for family, friends, community participation,
spirituality, personal growth, self care, and other personal activities, in addition to the demands
of the workplace. The results out of Friedman Test that majority of respondents consider holiday,
casual leave, compensation leave as most important factor in balance work life. Coimbatore has a
pleasing climate surrounded by hills and forests. It seems to be best place to live with favorable
climate and fair cost of living. The result of study reveals that town priority is considered to be
important factor to choose Coimbatore as a place of work.
The importance of health and safety at work cannot be overstated. The employer has
moral and a legal obligation to ensure that employees work in both a safe and healthy
environment. The cluster analysis results that married women with good demographic
background have neutral opinion with safety and healthy working conditions. Interpersonal
relationships are absolutely essential, as they help employees to have a mutual understanding
between themselves. As women in IT work in teams, they certainly tend to work collectively
towards the prescribed goal. Cluster 1 shows that unmarried women are neither agree or disagree
towards interpersonal relationship. Opportunity for growth and advancement is an important
mechanism for socioeconomic attainment during the course of individual careers. The analysis
shows that women agree that IT companies provide opportunity for self development and get
greater chance for promotion. Stress in the workplace has serious consequences for the mental
and physical health of employees, the workplace stress is preventable. Excessive stress can
interfere with productivity and success of companies. Stress has an impact on the quality of
interactions with others and quality of work life. The study results that cluster 1 represents
woman have neutral opinion regarding Stress related to work environment. Employees today are
more likely to express a strong desire to have a harmonious balance among career, family life
and leisure activities. Time spent on work engagements and time spent on non-work
engagements should be balanced. The unmarried women respondents under cluster 1 are neither
agree nor disagree as they may play a vital role to meet demands of family out of job.
The study results that there is a positive correlation exists between safety and
healthy working conditions and job satisfaction & security. Opportunity for growth &
advancement found to have a positive influence on job satisfaction & security and interpersonal
relationship. Employees rarely prefer to remain static in their careers for long. Rather, most
people continually look for opportunities to advance. Providing these opportunities can keep
employee turnover levels under control, as employees stick with you for longer to achieve their
personal and career goals. Stress related to work environment and job satisfaction & security
have significant interrelationship between them. Stress is part of everyday life for IT
professionals because of their nature of work, target, achievements, night shift and over work
load. Work related stress in the life of women consequently establish the impact on job
satisfaction and quality of working life.
The result of monova found that the demographic factors like age, marital status,
educational qualification, and family members influence the quality of life of the respondents.
The married respondents have to manage both the work and home which may have influenced
their level of quality of life.
The ratio of women entering into information technology is increasing steadily. IT
industry is an attractive and preferred career destination for women. IT has become the career
choice for many young educated women, for whom it offers high salaries as well as an
opportunity to live and work outside of India. There is also the loss of job security; employees
have to perform and deliver on projects on time to retain their hold on jobs; they also have to
refresh their skills constantly, often under pressure of an immediate project deadline. It is
essential to meet the requirements of women to make the work environment even more friendly
and conducive.
