Sending the workshop
Card Pin number

1. Press the # key then enter the
Workshop Card Pin Number


Note: It is the responsibility of the technician to
ensure the security of his/her workshop card
and the pin number issued to work with the
card. The technician is not to disclose the PIN
number to anybody (for further information
please see the approved Tachograph centre
manual section 4 4.4.4)
Device Testing

Once this button is
pressed this opens a sub
menu that includes

1. Distance Counter

2. Variable Speed
3. Clock Test
4. Speed Test
5. Test Chart

Adjustment of K factor

Once the vehicle has been calibrated press the for
1319,1324 and 1381 the W figure will be transferred
automatically, for 1318 Tachograph the DIL settings will be
shown



The text below also applies to1314 & 1319 Tachographs when using
20m track rolling road or break tester

W Button

Is used for measuring a single W
measurement on rolling road

Or for 20m track
1. Connect battery supply to
cigar port on vehicle
2. Insert programming lead
in to tachograph
3. Select Adjustments
4. Select Road
5. Drive vehicle to start of
20m track
6. Press Enter
7. Drive to end of 20m track
8. Press enter
9. Enter 20.00m
10. This will then display
the resulting W figure
11. Do this 3 times then
work out the average
12. Then enter new W
figure in Installation data

L Button


Is used for measuring a single
L measurement on rolling road

K Displaying the K value

The programmed K figure is
displayed

Automatic Measurement

When using the rolling road/break
tester this button is pressed when
the achieved speed is reached

50 Kph Rolling Road

3.0 Kph Break Tester

Or for 20m track with electronic
posts
Break off BR = OFF

Break on BR= ON

TCO PARAMETERS

In this section the technician can turn the heartbeat
on/off (Removing internal fault 13,14 and 15 digital
Tachographs only)

1. Select TCO Parameters
2. Select CAN BUS
3. Select Heartbeat and turn off using the + or key


Internal fault 10 (DTCO Only)

1. Select TCO Parameters
2. Select V pulse control and turn off using the + or
Key

Remote Download (DAF Vehicles only 1.3a or
above)

The customer may need the remote download
function turned on.

1. Select TCO Parameters
2. Select CAN2 remote download using the + or
key to On
