Class Number: ________ Score: ___________________

Name: ____________________ Grade/Section: ________________

TOPIC: Todays educational system defeats the purpose of
learning and creative thinking amongst students.
Evidence: The rigid and empirical curriculum forces
students to believe that they must conform to
this in order to be successful in life. Those who
fail to do so will result in becoming drop-outs.
Purpose of Statement: This paper will discuss the affects of the
traditional school system on the overall
performance and interests of the high school
population of St. Scholasticas Academy Marikina.
Thesis Statement: A significant population of students from St.
Scholasticas Academy Marikina find it difficult
to cope with studies due to the fact that the
curriculum only favors one specific form of
intelligence.
Introduction Statement:
St. Scholasticas Academy Marikina is regarded as one of the most
prestigious and high-standing private schools in the district. Having
recently received the PAASCU accreditation, the school is then made to
raise their standard in order to maintain the title.
In that being said, intelligence and overall success has been
strictly confined to ones test scores, class ranking and popularity
between peers. Creativity is not encouraged because deviating to what
is expected outcome from the students would cause unfairness or
inequality in judging the worth of the individual.
