Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
W
armest greetings to all in the name of Him who is called Wonder-
ful, Counselor, Te Mighty God, Te Everlasting Father, Te Prince of
Peace. Without a doubt Christmas is about the greatest news to ever be heard by
man: the birth of Te Child announced from the beginning and I will put enmity
between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her send; it shall bruise thy
head, and thou shalt bruise his heel Genesis 3:15: waited for by His people during
four thousand years there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon, and
the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel Luke 2:
25, but unwanted by the vast majority, He came unto his own, and his own received
him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of
God, even to them that believe on his name John 1:11,12. He it is that has reveled
Himself to us with words so comforting Fear not, I am the rst and the last: I am
he that liveth, and was dead, and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have
the keys of hell and of death Revelation 1:17,18. Fear not, for behold, I bring you
good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day
in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord Luke 2: 10,11. May the joy
of knowing Christas the Wonder of all wonders, Emanuel, God with us; the Word
made esh, Wisdom that makes wise His people in the counsel of God; the Mighty
Warrior victorious over all His enemies; Everlasting Father who has loved us with
everlasting love: and the Lamb of God, giving Himself in sacrice for us to establish
us in peace with Godlift your heart in praise to God for His indescribable gift!!

We are especially thankful to the Lord for permitting us this time to spend a few
days with our children in Virginia. Its actually the rst time we have been together
as a family at Christmas during the last twelve years. We are so thankful for the op-
portunity to rest a little though we thank the Lord for good health He has given. We
have been very busy these past four or ve months. I always say that Im taking on a
lighter work load .but I still nd myself working just as much as before.
I am concentrating on the seminary work, though I am doing a lot of transla-
tion work too which I think is very necessary for teaching purposes. We urge you to
pray for this ministry. Tere are now so many obstacles to overcome and so many
problems to solve that it has become a very wearisome endeavor and I nd myself
becoming very discouraged sometimes. We trust that in 2010 we will see more
progress towards our goal of establishing a reformed Bible seminary in Ecuador.
Now may our God and Father Himself, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our
way to you. And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another
and to all, just as we do to you, so that He may establish your hearts blameless in
holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all
His saints 1 Tesalonians 3: 11, 12.
Te Lord bless you all.
In Christ,
William and Mercy
