MATRICULATION
You will be sent an email
acknowledging receipt of
your application form
After Academic
approval you will be
sent by email either an
offer of a place or a
rejection letter (usually
detailing the rejection
reason)
Once you have accepted
the offer via UKPASS we
will email you a firm
acceptance letter
An accommodation form
will be sent to you
automatically (usually from
April onwards). If you
require University
Accommodation you must
complete and return the
form by email. The
deadline date for
submission is the 15th
July for guaranteed UoD
accommodation
International
Students
Once we have
received a pre-
payment towards
tuition fees we will
email a CAS checklist
to you.
You must check all
details are accurate
and return the form
You will be notified
of the date you
need to
matriculate
(Register)
You will also receive a
check sheet containing
your personal details.
Please check, and return
the form only if corrections
are required.
Conditional and
Unconditional offers
must be accepted on
UKPASS (if you wish
to take up the offer)
OR
Declined (if you no
longer want the place)

ACTIVATE ACCOUNT
This email will contain
MY Dundee and
University (Dmail webmail)
login details. Please use
this account for receiving
and replying to the
University regarding the
admissions process.
Although we will send a
copy of all
correspondence to your
personal email account
you must activate your
UoD Dmail account as you
will need to login to
undertake certain tasks
within the Admissions
process.
International students

If your Course offers a
Scholarship we will send
you a form by email which
you must complete and
return if you would like to
be considered for a
Scholarship. Please note
you will notified if you have
been successful shortly
after the closing date of
Scholarships
Please note students
can only hold one UoD
Scholarship for their
course of studies
US FEDERAL LOANS
Once you have confirmed
your application for a USA
Federal Loan we will issue
a
Notification of Student
Loan For the Academic
Year
This will be signed by the
UoD and sent to you by
DPL Courier. Please use
the original for visa
purposes.
You will be issued
with an email
detailing
information to
complete an
online pre-
matriculation task
before arriving in
Dundee
Your acknowledgement
letter will state your tuition
fee status. If you wish to
appeal the decision please
complete the relevant Fee
Status Questionnaire (link
in the email)
International
Applicants
You will receive an
email regarding the
UKBA Previous
Study Rule, please
follow the
instructions and
upload a copy of
your passport,
current or expired
UK visas. Please
note we need this
information before
we can proceed with
your application form
