Contributions are limited to $2400 per individual and $4800 per couple per election. The primary and
general elections are separate elections, so individuals may give a total of $4800 for both elections, while
couples may give a total of $9600.
Contributions to People for Patty Murray are subject to the prohibitions and limitations of the Federal
Election Campaign Act. Contributions from corporations, labor unions, national banks, federal
contractors and foreign nationals who are not admitted for permanent residence in the United States are
prohibited. The decision by a minor to contribute must be knowing and voluntary; the contributed funds, goods,
services must be owned and controlled exclusively by the minor and not controlled by any other individual;
contributions may not be made from gifts made to the minor to provide funds for contributions. All
contributions must be made from personal funds and may not be reimbursed or paid by any other person.

individuals whose contributions exceed $200 per election cycle.
