Kenya has joined a growing list of African countries proposing laws on homosexuality. This is the latest version of the proposed Bill which is yet to be tabled and debated by Kenyan parliament. Kenya's law proposes death by stoning for Kenyan nationals who commits the offenses.
Kenya's law follows neigbouring Uganda which proposed a similar law (though the act was punishable by life imprisonment). Uganda constitutional court ruled the law unconstitutional because it was passed without corum and some members of parliament are collecting signatures to reinstate the same law.
