Add a touch of summer to your home!
This charming welcome greeting smells of lavender and makes a real eye-cat-
cher for any door. The hearts are cut out of FIMOair light, embossed with
lettering and then decorated with gold powder. FIMOair is a light modelling
clay which makes it perfect for any items where weight is an issue.
For crafting: Smooth work surface, scissors, paper clips, brush, sponge, needle, toothpicks,
different-sized heart-shaped cutters, acrylic paint

Knead the remaining FIMOair light until smooth and then
roll out to an approx. 4 mm thick sheet. Use different-
sized cutters to cut out as many hearts as required and
stick them onto toothpicks.
Place the texture sheet on top of the cut-out heart. Press
it onto the clay evenly and roll over gently. Then carefully
peel the texture sheet off. Reapply the texture sheet to any
areas of the heart not yet embossed and press on again.

Roll a 250 g block of FIMOair light out to an approx.
8 mm thick sheet using the acrylic roller.
Cut the heart-shaped paper templates out, place them
on the sheet of FIMO and cut around the outside with a
kitchen knife. Use your nger to smooth over the edges
and round them off a little.
Instructions
Before embossing, cover the texture sheet with a dusting
of baby powder, talc or cornour to make it easier to
remove from the FIMOair light afterwards.

Hardening: Now leave the hearts to
dry in the air at room temperature
for 1 day or harden them in the
microwave in only 10 minutes at
600 watts.

IMPORTANT: Place a glass of cold
water in the microwave during the
hardening process. Harden within
1 hour of modelling (100 g / 10 min).

Cut a paper clip in half with a pair of nipper pliers and
stick into the top of the 2 large hearts as hangers. Take
the toothpicks out of the small hearts and thread them
onto thin lengths of ribbon.
Tie all of the hearts to the coloured bamboo sticks using
a piece of thin ribbon. Then decorate with a bow and a
posy of dried lavender.
Accents can be added by using the gold metallic marker to
trace over the line and the rst letters of individual words.
Once hardened and cooled, paint the hearts with acrylic
or watercolour paints.
To create the popular vintage look, wipe some of the
paint off again before dry with a moist sponge.
Instructions
A distinctive antique appearance is achieved by mixing a
little gloss varnish with gold powder 1:1 and applying it to
the dark area using a dry bristle brush.
