Content standard : 1.2 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be
able to listen and respond appropriately in formal and informal
situations for a variety of purposes.
Learning standard: 1.2.4 Able to participate in guided conversations with peers.

Objectives: By the end of the lesson pupils should be able to:-
1) Have a guided conversation with their peers.
2) Answer 1 to 3 impromptu questions.
Vocabulary : past, present, yoke, carriage, firewood, tractor.
Moral values : Rationality
Teaching aids : Substitution table.
Thinking skills : Compare & Contrast
Multiple intelligence : Verbal linguistic, interpersonal skills.

In the past, people

sentence structure.

to repeat what the
teacher have said.

4) The teacher states that
he prefer past and
explains why.

why he would prefer the
present too.

as a guide to pupils.

starting the conversation.
