Notes
A. Table of contents

corresponding page numbers. It should clearly show the structural relationship between the
sections and subsections. A reader looking for specific information should be able to locate the
appropriate section easily from the table of contents. The conventions for section and page
numbering are as follows:

1. Title of first main section (usually Introduction)
1.1 First subheading
1.2 Second subheading
2. Title of second main section
2.1 First subheading
2.2 Second subheading
2.2.1 First division in the second subheading
2.2.2 Second division in the second subheading
3. Title of third main section

B. Abstract/ Summery

the coursework just after the Table of contents. The objective of the abstract is to provide the

reader with a brief and concise summary of the entire coursework in one or two small
paragraphs. Contents of Abstract will not be included in your assignment word count.

C. Introduction
The purpose of Introduction is to contextualise your assignment, giving the reader a clear
expectation of what is to follow. The Introduction creates a thread by which the whole
assignment is held together. Write one to three small paragraphs in the Introduction. In this
section you should do the following:
contextualise your topic
establish the topic clearly
indicate to your reader how the topic will be dealt with
explain its significance
define any unknown terms

Answer the Main Question (Task1/Task2/Task3)
You need to answer different tasks in the assignment. You need to analysis relevant theories
with the help of examples and produce an effective analysis. Please start each task on
separate page.

D. Conclusion

limitations to your approach and recommendations (if appropriate). Write one or two small
paragraphs in this section.

E. Recommendations
Points you can recommend to improve the situation in the industry / company /environment.

F. Reference List and Bibliography
Reference list contains a complete list of all the sources (books, journal articles, websites, etc.)
that you have cited directly in your coursework. If there are in-text citations for a source, then
there is a reference list entry and vice versa. Bibliography includes sources that you have used to
generate ideas or read around a topic, but have not referred to directly in the body of the
assignment.

G. Appendix
An Appendix is a section at the end of a book/assignment which includes supplementary
information which may be of interest or use to the reader. It is not necessary for you to add

Appendix. If you think that there is some information that will be helpful for the reader to
understand the assignment but you dont want to add the information in the main assignment
due to limit of words you can add that information in the Appendix section. Otherwise you
dont need to add Appendix in the assignment.
