MARKETING SESSIONS

Purpose: To provide members a viable medium for the marketing of real property in the
service area of the association ( See Article 1.03 of Bylaws ); to provide members an
opportunity to exchange information pertaining to our effecting the sale of real property;
to provide an interface between members and affiliate members in the lending, title, and
related industries.

Objective: These procedures are designed to provide a format for the conduct of
marketing sessions; provide guidelines and prerequisites for the marketing of properties;
and to establish caravan routes for viewing of listed properties.

LOCATION OF MEETINGS

The marketing sessions will be held each Friday at a place so designated by the Officers
of the Corporation. Currently meetings are being held at the Poway Community Center,
in the Community Park in Poway. Entrance to the park is at the intersection of Civic
Center Drive and Bowron Street. The meetings are scheduled to commence at 8:30 AM
and last approximately 45 minutes in length. Two hours time have been rented to allow
ample time for set up and clean up operations.

FORMAT OF MEETINGS

1. Meetings are called to order by the President or designated representative promptly at


8:30AM.
2. New associates are introduced by Brokers or Office Managers.
3. New affiliate members are introduced.
4. All Affiliate members are allowed to introduce themselves.
5. Announcements of importance to members (All announcements must be preapproved
by the President).
6. Presentation of properties is made on “first come” basis.
7. Presentations are to be conducted in one minute or less, and only by members of the
association and non-member individuals who have paid a one time marketing fee to have
listings on caravan.

Presentations to follow this format:

1. Agent’s name, company name and phone number


2. Announce caravan order if on caravan
3. Price, terms and brief description of the property, ie. Amenities, unusual features,
showing instructions, gate codes, drawings, luncheons, etc.
(NOTE: PREP does not approve of alcoholic beverages being served on caravan)
PREP does not approve of children accompanying parents on caravan )

TOUR (CARAVAN) OF NEW LISTINGS:


Each member or non-member who pays a $2 fee for admission is entitled to one copy
of the flow sheet. Changes to the tour are made by the secretary. Anyone wishing to
make changes should do so by contacting the secretary prior to the meeting.
Properties on tour will be pre-printed on the flow sheet.
Additions at the meeting will be at the discretion of the secretary.
Submission requirements for caravan are covered under separate heading.

DRAWINGS

Sales of tickets (contribution): Tickets may be obtained at the door for a two dollar
donation per 3 tickets. Proceeds from these donations are used to offset costs of
coffee service. The remainder is used in the drawing.

FLYERS

Flyers may be displayed at the meeting at a place so designated. Those bringing


flyers are responsible for removal of excess.

Realtors pay $50 for yearly membership

Billed quarterly

NON-MEMBERS $15.00 $5/Week $2/meeting
