Convocation House This area has no distributed power to it, although a temporary supply can sometimes be provided.
Chancellors Court There are two circuits of four sockets. Each circuit is capable of 10kw (10000w) or 32A. There is a load calculator available to assist you with balanced loading of these circuits.
General notes: All circuits in these areas are single phase and of limited capacity (there is no three phase and neutral supply available, 415v). All appliances plugged into these circuits must be load checked prior to being used (POWER WILL FAIL IF TOTAL CIRCUIT LOADS ARE EXCEEDED). All equipment brought in must have a current portable appliance test (PAT), which may be requested before the appliance can be used on site, and must comply with IEE Regulations and safety standards. All leads placed around these areas to distribute power must be suitably protected and routed whenever they may become a trip hazard or at risk of being damaged by items being placed upon them. All cables should be secured using low-tac tape only.
