Why do people abuse animals?, Does the society do something about it?

I think that animals are not equal to men and therefore should not be treated as such. However, this
isnt implies that man has the right to mistreat animals, but must fulfill its essential role to ensure that
all parts of the hierarchy of the universe free of evil coexist.
Animal cruelty is a nation-wide problem rapidly growing in todays society. Animals are being beaten
and starved everyday and millions of helpless animals die each year because of heartless owners.

Animal cruelty generally falls into three categories: abandonment, unintentional or intentional cruelty.

Animals abandonment: This is a huge problem world wide. There are countless millions of loving,
adoptable dogs put to death every year, simply because people keep breeding more puppies to try to
make money.

Unintentional: Most people who abuse animals don't do it on purpose. They hurt animals because
they don't think about or realize what they are doing. For example, they keep their dog on a short
chain all of the time without realizing that the dog needs better shelter.

Cruel Intention: This last group of people who hurt animals is the worst. These are people who
intentionally hurt animals because they enjoy hurting others or because it makes them feel powerful.
For example, Someone might make his dog kill other dogs because he thinks that makes him powerful.
Others simply enjoy pain and violence.

Despite the suffering of abused animals, what society does something about this?

Many jurisdictions around the world have enacted statutes which forbid cruelty to some animals but
these vary by country and in some cases by the use or practice.
The single greatest obstacle to drafting, interpreting and more effectively enforcing animal-protection
laws is the premise on which they are based. Constitutionally it promotes animal care through school
education, and establishes a Bioethics Committee to define policies related to experiments with
animals.

Around the world there have been created foundations for abandoned animals that are responsible for
rescue ,provide shelter, veterinary care, spay/neuter services, and hope for thousands of homeless
pets each year.

One of the most important foundations is SPCA (The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals)
is a non-profit animal welfare organization originally founded in England in 1824 to pass laws
protecting animals from abuse and attempt to find new homes for unwanted animals they feel are
adoptable. Policies regarding animal euthanasia, handling feral cats, and similar issues vary by shelter.

Others are oriented fundaciones a foster an understanding of the human-animal, educate the owners
and provide resources and information about animal care and training. You can also identify areas of
need , assist communities and individuals in reaching sensible solutions to animal issues.
In conclusion all living beings have rights on society, so it is important that we share the same world
and have the same rights, regardless of race or of all kinds all living beings have the same opportunity
on the same planet. Pro-animals.
