Cast On 3 sts. in Color 1
ROW 1: (RS) SL1kwyib: kfb twice 5 st.s; 2st
increase
ROW 2: (WS) SL1pwyif, p to end
ROW 3: Sl1kwyib, m1R, k to last st, m1L, k1 2 st increase
ROW 4: SL1pwyif, p to end
REPEAT last 2 rows until there are 34 st.s, ending with WS row
Change to Clolor 2
ROW 1: (RS)SL1kwyib, ssk, k to last st, m1L, k1
ROW 2: (WS) Sl1pwyif,p to end
REPEAT these 2 rows until Color 2 hank is almost gone
Change to Color 3
ROW 1: (RS) Sl1kwyib, ssk, k to last 3 sts 2 st decrease
ROW 2: (WS) SL1pwyif, p to end
REPEAT last 2 rows until 5 st.s remain

Reminder:

Trauma Tuesday is held each and every Tuesday from 11:00 until 2:00 to
help out those knitters in the midst of a knitting crisis who are using KBN
yarn. If the help you need exceeds 30 minutes, please call and make an
appointment with one of our staff. And if you cannot attend Trauma
Tuesday, then call to make an appointment to meet with someone for
help on an alternate day. Help for longer than 30 minutes or on a day other
than Tuesday is by appointment ONLY!
EXTRA: For extra help we will offer a 2 -hour help session from 11:00 to
1:00 for $16.00 per person on Thursdays.

FUN NEW CLASSES & EVENTS:
Learn To Knit: Make this year the year you learn to knit! Three part class
held on 9/3, 9/17 & 10/3 from 11:00 12:30 $60.00 for 3 classes
Finishing the Afghan: Blocks 8 & 9 will be taught on 9/8 from 10:00 to
12:00 & 9/13 from 10:00 to 12:00. These will be our final blocks to complete
your masterpiece!
Socks Made Simple: No magic loop or double points, WOW! For those
knitters not wanting to knit socks because of all the extra needles or loops
we have found a way for you! Three part class held on 9/10, 9/24, & 10/8
from 11:00 12:30 $60.00 for all 3 classes
Pumpkin Hats: A must knit for all those special babies and kids to wear this
fall! Imagine your pumpkin at the pumpkin patch in their pumpkin hat!!
Two part class held on 9/25 & 10/2 from 11:00 12:00 $40 for 2 classes
Repair Class: Elan will be teaching wonderful ways to repair your mistakes!
Held on 10/1 from 1:00 to 3:00 $40 for the class and there will be homework
so watch out for it!
Diagonal Lace Scarf: This is a fantastic Fall accessory! Held 9/18 from 1:00
to 3:00 for $40. (Advanced Beginner to Intermediate Knitter)
Fair Isle Hat Class: This wonderful convertible hat to cowl project in Fair
Isle will be a must take! Held 10/9 & 10/23 from 1:00 to 3:00 for $40 plus a
purchase of the yarn kit.

Knitting for Cancer:

Please remember to turn all your extra yarn into fantastic hats for chemo
patients. You can turn them in at KBN, and we will make sure they get to
Mary Bird Perkins. Knitting is fun, but knitting for a cause is the best!
