In English, the adjective usually goes before the noun it refers to, whereas in Italian it
can go before or after the noun.
Mentre in italiano l’aggettivo può precedere o seguire il sostantivo, in inglese
l’aggettivo, generalmente, precede il nome a cui si riferisce.
Anyway, there are certain cases when the adjective follow the noun.
Abbiamo però dei casi in cui l’aggettivo segue il sostantivo:

As has already been mentioned, present and past participles of verbs can be used as
adjectives.
Come già detto anteriormente, I participi presenti e passati possono essere usati
anche come aggettivi.

Present participles used as adjectives refer to actions being performed by the things
being described.
