There is amendments in certain provisions of Refund Rule. Refer Amended Refund Rulesw.e.f 01-07-2013.
PNRs having fully waitlisted status will be dropped and the names of the passengers will not appear on the chart. They are not allowed to board the train.
However the names of PARTIALLY waitlisted/ conrmed and RAC will appear in the chart.
The accommoda on booked is not transferable and is valid only if one of the ID card noted above is presented duringthe journey. The ERS/VRM/SMSsent by
IRCTC along with the valid ID proof in original would be veried by TTE with the name and PNR on the chart. If the passenger fail to produce/display
ERS/VRM/SMSsent by IRCTC due to any eventuality (loss, damaged mobile/laptop etc.) but has the prescribed original proof of iden ty, a penalty of Rs.50/-
per cket as applicable to such cases will be levied. The cket checkingstaOn board/O board will give Excess Fare Ticket for the same.
E- cket cancella ons are permi ed throughwww.irctc.co.in by the user.
Obtain cer cate fromthe TTE /Conductor in case of PARTIALLY waitlisted e- cket, LESSNO. OF PASSENGERStravelled, A.C.FAILURE, TRAVELIN LOWERCLASS.
This original cer cate must be sent to GGM (IT), IRCTC Ltd., Internet Ticke ng Centre, IRCA Building, State Entry Road, New Delhi-110055 a er ling on-line
refund request for claimingrefund.
Passengers are advised not to carry inammable/dangerous/explosive ar cles as part of their luggage and also to desist fromsmokingin the trains.
