Horses may depart at the conclusion of judging but must depart by 8.00 pm if not staying overnight.
All horses must be off the Showground by 7.00 pm on Sunday 3 March (unless prior approval to
remain on the Showground until Monday 4 March has been granted by the RA&HS)
MEASURING
All horses competing in height classes must be measured prior to competing.
Exhibitors must produce their registration papers at the time of measuring to prove identity of the horse.
Measuring times are as follows:
Friday 28 March 6.00 am till 11.00 am
Saturday 29 March - 6.00 am till 11.00 am
Sunday 30 March - 6.00 am till 11.00 am
STABLING
All horses must be stabled. Exhibits must not be tied to foats.
Exhibitors are required to book and pay for stabling at the time of entry.
It is a requirement that you advise the date/s you require stabling on the form provided and lodge with
your entry form/s.
Should the number of bookings exceed the available stables, preference will be given to interstate and
far distant exhibitors.
Stabling (including bedding) fees are as follows:
Stall - $10 per day
Lockers - $10 per day

The following conditions will strictly apply:
All entries, whether lodged in person or sent
by post, must be in the Societys possession
at its Administration Offce by 5.00 pm on
Friday 7 February 2014.
Postal entry forms and fees will be accepted
up to and including entries postmarked on
or before the offcial closing date.
When sending entry forms and fees by
post, the onus is on the exhibitor to ensure
adequate delivery time.
Entry forms by facsimile or email will not be
accepted.
If you require formal acknowledgement
that your entry has been received, please
include a stamped self-addressed envelope
with your entry form.
A late entry option is available under the
following conditions:
The entry form/s and fees are received
or postmarked within 7 days of the
offcial closing date and
An additional fee equivalent to three
times the standard entry fee is paid.
Absolutely no exception to the above
conditions will be made to any exhibitor
under any circumstance.

MEMBERSHIP
Exhibitors need not be members of the Royal
Agricultural and Horticultural Society of SA Inc
SPECIAL REGULATIONS
Exhibitors are reminded that the Societys General
Regulations apply to all sections of the Show
and that the Special Regulations hereunder set
out, which apply to this section only, are merely
supplementary to and subject to the Regulations.
A copy of the General Regulations may be
obtained from the Societys website at
theshow.com.au or a copy may be obtained upon
request from the Societys Administration Offce.
The members of the Societys Horse Committee
shall have power on behalf of the Society to
take any necessary action under these Special
Regulations.
SUBMISSION OF ENTRIES
Exhibitors must state on each entry form the class
number (as per schedule), name of horse (as it
appears on relevant registration certifcate), sire,
dam, breeder, registration number and the breed
society/ies which each horse is registered with in
relation to the class/es entered of each horse.
A separate entry form is required for each horse.
In rider and handler classes, the name and date of
birth (if 18 years and under) of the rider or handler
must be stated.
Horses in each class must be named.
IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE EXHIBITOR
TO ENSURE HORSES ARE ENTERED IN THE
CORRECT CLASS/ES.
A $20 administration fee will be levied on every
incorrect or incomplete entry.
PERFORMANCES
Exhibitors must state performances of all horses
entered and the Society reserves the right to
determine which horses are accepted.

TRANSFERS
Transfers will be made at the discretion of the
Society in height classes.
No transfer will be made if an exhibitor has
entered the incorrect class.
REFUNDS
No refund of entry fees, stabling fees or locker
fees will be made after an exhibitor has been
notifed of the acceptance of their horse.
Fees for which a nomination is made and the
entry not accepted shall be refunded MINUS A
$20 Administration Fee.
YOUR PRIVACY
If you do not want your details to be made
available to other parties, please tick the box
on the entry form supplied by the RA&HS. Your
personal information will then only be used by
the RA&HS to maintain contact with you and
allow us to manage your entries. The RA&HS
reserves the right to inform prize sponsors of the
details of recipients to enable distribution of their
voucher/product prizes. Please note: by ticking
the box to suppress your details, your name will
appear in the Catalogue (if applicable) but your
address will not.
PRIZES
Details of all sponsored prizes will be published
in the 2014 Royal Adelaide Autumn Horse Show
Catalogue
Prizes in each class will be:
First $25; second $15; third $10 (unless
otherwise specifed)
Prize ribbons will be as listed in each category.
Sashes will be awarded to all Champions and
Reserve Champions.
Champions will be selected from frst prize
winners and Reserve Champions from remaining
frst prize winners and the second prize winner in
the class that supplied the Champion.
The Society makes every endeavour to ensure
all prizes listed are accurate at the time of
printing. Should a prize (cash, voucher, product,
trophy) be withdrawn by a sponsor subsequent
to printing, the Society will pay the prizemoney
as stated above. It is the responsibility of the
prize winner to follow-up with the Society any
sponsored prize (cash, voucher, product, trophy)
they believe they are entitled to prior to 23
December in the same year. The Society will
not follow-up prize sponsors after this date or
review any prizes that may have been incorrectly
awarded.
PRIZE MONEY AND GST
Prize money as stated in the Prize Schedule does
not include GST.
The prize money which we pay to successful
exhibitors depends on information provided to
us. If you confrm that you are GST registered
and provide your Australian Business Number
(ABN), we will pay the appropriate prize money
plus 10% GST. We will provide you with a
Recipient Created Tax Invoice which you will
need to submit to the Australian Taxation Offce.
In entering the competition, you acknowledge
your agreement to the following:
You will not issue a tax invoice to the
RA&HS in respect to prize money received
You will notify the RA&HS if you cease to be
registered for GST.
If you provide your Australian Business Number
but are not registered for GST, we will pay the
prize money as detailed in the Prize Schedule
without reference to the GST.
If you confrm you are entering as part of a
private recreational pursuit or hobby, we will pay
the prize money as detailed in the Prize Schedule
without reference to GST.
IMPORTANT
It is important that you either:
Confrm you are entering as part of a private
recreational pursuit or hobby, or
Confrm you are entering as a GST registered
business and supply your ABN
Failure to do either of the above will cause the
RA&HS to withhold 48.5% of your prize money
in accordance with Australian tax legislation.

The RA&HS is not a tax consultant and therefore
assumes no liability for actions taken as a result
of these guidelines. In any instances where
an entrant or sponsor is uncertain of the tax
implications of their involvement, they should
consult their own accountant or tax advisor.

PAYMENT OF PRIZE MONEY
It is the preference of the RA&HS that any prize
money won during the Royal Adelaide Show
is paid by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). The
Exhibitor should provide the BSB, Account
Number and Account Name on the space
provided on the entry form. Amounts of $15
or under will only be paid by this method.
Exhibitors not requesting payment by EFT
for amounts greater than $15 will be paid by
cheque.
PLEASE NOTE THAT CHEQUES WILL BE MADE
OUT IN THE NAME OF THE EXHIBITOR. IF
YOU DO NOT HAVE AN ACCOUNT IN THE
NAME YOU HAVE ENTERED UNDER, YOU
WILL NEED TO BE PAID VIA EFT.
To assist the Society, would you please ensure
cheques are deposited promptly into a bank
account. Replacement prize cheques will be
issued up to 30 June 2013, however a fee of $10
may be charged. If the cheque to be replaced
is not returned then an additional fee will be
charged to cover the cost of cancellation. Any
concerns regarding prize money must be raised
with the Society by 30 June.
It is a term and condition of the payment of any
prize by RA&HS that any cheque issued and
provided in payment of a prize must be presented
by the payee for payment within ffteen (15)
months of the date upon which the cheque is
issued otherwise the cheque shall become stale
and of no value and the prize shall be deemed
to have been forfeited by the payee and RA&HS
shall no longer be liable to pay the prize.
WITHDRAWALS
All withdrawals must be made in writing and can
be sent via email to:
entries@adelaideshowground.com.au or faxed to
(08) 8212 1533.
Emailed withdrawals must include Withdrawal
in the subject line and the section (eg Horse
Section), exhibitor name, class number,
exhibit number (if known) and exhibit name (if
applicable).
No refund of fees will be made after an exhibitor
has been notifed of the acceptance of their
horse.
A $20 Administration Fee will be levied on
withdrawals made before notifcation of
acceptance.
PENALTY FOR NON EXHIBITION OF ANIMALS
Following advice from the Society of acceptance
of their nomination/s, any exhibitor whose
exhibit becomes unable to compete for any
reason must notify the Society in writing prior
to the advertised starting time of the class/
es entered, that their exhibit/s are unable to
compete. Exhibitors who fail to scratch prior to
the advertised starting time of the class/es entered
may be fned $50 for each exhibit not scratched
and may be disqualifed from competing at future
events held by the RA&HS of SA Inc.
REGISTRATION
Entries will not be accepted if exhibitors are
unfnancial with the relevant breed society/
association at the time of entry.
All horses entered (except those entered in
Galloway classes), must be registered with the
relevant breed society/association at the time of
entry.
All entry information will be forwarded to
breed society/ies and/or association/s for
verifcation that the information provided is
correct. Exhibits and/or exhibitors who do not
meet the registration and/or membership criteria
of the breed society/association will be ineligible
for competition and no refund of fees will be
payable.
Registration certifcates (or copies) are not
required at the time of entry.
Proof of registration of entires, mares and
geldings registered with overseas societies, must
be produced for checking at time of lodging
entries.
AGE OF EXHIBITS
All exhibits in this section must be over one year
old and have been born before 1 August 2013.
The age of all horses will be calculated as from
1 August. A horse foaled before 1 August in any
year, will be considered one year old on that
date.
OWNERSHIP
All exhibits must be the bona fde property of the
exhibitor or held by the exhibitor under a written
and recorded lease at the time of entry.
All exhibits must be nominated in the name of
the registered owner or lessee.

MARES
Unless otherwise stated, mare classes are open to
dry mares or in foal or with foal at foot.
All brood mares must be in foal or with foal at
foot. A positive pregnancy test certifcate must
be produced for all mares in foal. This certifcate
should, if possible, be produced at the time of
entry.
The original certifcate must be produced to the
stewards on judging day if requested.
Mares can be nominated in both dry and in-foal
classes but can only compete in one.
CONTROL OF EXHIBITS
During judging and while being led or ridden,
all exhibits must be under proper control by a
competent handler and with proper leading gear.
Please refer to individual breed society/
association rules and regulations in regard to
whips.
ATTIRE
Suggested attire - exhibitors and/or handlers
(male and female)
Long trousers/skirt, long sleeved shirt with collar
and tie, waist coat or vest and/or jacket, felt hat
or cap, footwear that is appropriate and safe for
the condition of the arena.
ENTRIES
In all breeds, unless six or more horses are
entered, the breed section will be cancelled.
In each class, unless 3 or more horses are
entered, the Society will cancel or merge classes.
TIMETABLE
A timetable of all classes and events is
enclosed. In 2014, classes will not be
programmed individually. Each breed will
commence judging at the advertised time with
classes being judged in the order in which they
appear in the Prize Schedule.
All exhibitors are required to be ready for their
class - judging will not be suspended if exhibitors
are not present at the time of judging.
The Committee reserves the right to substitute,
vary the time of, alter or abandon any event in
programme.
Classes will be framed wherever practicable to
avoid judging two classes concurrently in which
one exhibitor may be entered but due to the often
high number of horses with multiple registrations,
it is impossible to satisfy everyone.
In the event you do have a clash, please notify
the stewards in each ring at least 10 minutes prior
to the start of each class and every reasonable
attempt will be made to accommodate you on
the day.
The Society accepts no responsibility if the
judging time happens to confict with one or
more classes or events.
ALLOCATION OF STALLS/LOCKERS
For price information on stalls and lockers, please
refer to the inside front cover.
THE ONUS IS ON THE EXHIBITOR TO ENSURE
STALLS AND LOCKERS ARE BOOKED FOR THE
CORRECT DAYS.
A limited number of stalls and lockers are
available on the Showground.
The Society will, subject to availability, allocate
stalls and lockers.
Depending on entries received local horses may
not get a stall.
The Society reserves the right to alter this
allocation at any time should such action be
considered necessary, and may allocate another
stall or locker to the exhibitor.
Applications for stalls and lockers must be lodged
at time of entry.
Exhibitors with less than fve horses may apply
for one locker only.
Exhibitors with less than four horses will not be
allotted a large locker.
These fees will apply whether locker is shared or
not.
Should the number of applications received
exceed the number of lockers which are
available, the Society will require exhibitors
with one horse to share a locker with another
exhibitor.
Requests received after closing date of entries
will not be considered.
HORSE STALLS
For price information on stalls and lockers, please
refer to page 2.
THE ONUS IS ON THE EXHIBITOR TO ENSURE
STALLS AND LOCKERS ARE BOOKED FOR THE
CORRECT DAYS.
Any stall which has been allocated, but is not
occupied by that horse will be re-allocated.
Whilst the Society will consider stabling
requests, no guarantee is made that they will be
met.

MEASURING
All horses, galloways and ponies entered in a
class with a height restriction, whether it be an
upper or lower limit, must be measured by the
measuring steward before competing.
Exhibitors must produce their registration papers,
which must be checked to belong to the horse
presented, before a measurement can be taken.
All horses, galloways and ponies will be
measured at the highest point of the wither.
The poll shall not be lower than the highest point
of the wither at the time of measurement.
An allowance of 10 mm for shoes will be
observed. Should an exhibit be measured with
shoes on, and the exhibitor disagrees with the
measuring steward, the exhibitor may have the
animal re-measured without shoes.
The measuring steward may request the removal
of shoes from any horse, prior to measurement.
Any exhibit having passed the measuring steward
for its class shall not be eligible for a class of a
different height.
The onus is on the competitor to advise the
Arena Co-ordinator if a horse is transferred to a
class of a different height. Failure to do so will
preclude entry into that class.
The Society may refuse to measure any horse
presented for measuring if in its opinion the
horse is not in a ft and proper condition to be
measured or if in its opinion any circumstances
exist which are likely to lead to the horse being
incorrectly measured. The Society shall not be
required to give any reason for the exercise of the
discretion hereby conferred.
The Committee reserves the right to re-measure
horses at any time during the Royal Show.

NOT TO STANDARD
The Society reserves the right to exclude from
competition;
1. Horses that are not up to standard.
2. Horses not exhibited in Show condition.
3. Horses not given proper attention during the
Show.
4. Exhibitors/riders/handlers who disregard an
instruction from an RA&HS representative.
NUMBERS
In all classes competitors must wear a
distinguishing number supplied by the Society
corresponding to the number in the programme.
Numbers for the full period of the event will be
available for collection at the Roundhouse.
These numbers shall be retained by the
competitor. If a competitor loses a number during
the Show it will be replaced at a cost of $5.
ELIGIBILITY
Substitution of any horse will not be permitted
in any event.
JUDGING
The Society reserves the right to substitute a
Judge when deemed necessary.
Persons other than the handler, judges, stewards
and Society staff are not permitted in the ring.
Horses must not enter the ring unless called by
the stewards.
Any animal which in the opinion of the stewards
is considered dangerous, will be removed from
the ring.
The competing horses name must not appear on
the forehead band.
CHAMPIONSHIPS
Entries eligible for Supreme Champion,
Champion and Reserve Champion awards must
be presented to the judge unless exemption has
been granted by the Committee.
Entries which are not presented will forfeit the
award and prize money in the class in which
they gained championship eligibility.
Entries eligible for Supreme Champion,
Champion and Reserve Champion awards must
compete under the same criteria under which
they became eligible.
Winners of novice classes are not eligible for
championship awards.
Supreme Championships will not be awarded
unless two or more Champions are selected from
the breed.

PROTESTS
Protests against awards must be lodged in writing
with the Chief Executive within thirty (30)
minutes of the offcial announcement of results
of a class.
Protests in all cases must be accompanied by a
deposit of $50 at time of lodging. The deposit will
be forfeited to the Society should the protest be
deemed frivolous.
OFFENCES
1. Any person who:
(a) provides the Society with false
information relating to their qualifcations
to compete or the qualifcations of their
child under 18 years of age to compete;
(b) provides the Society with false
information relating to an exhibit;
(c) misrepresents the identity of an exhibit;
(d) does any act or thing which is intended
to or is likely to result in an exhibit being
incorrectly identifed;
(e) does any act or thing which is intended
to or is likely to result in an exhibit being
incorrectly measured;
(f) presents an exhibit for measuring
when that exhibit has had any drug
administered to it;
(g) commits an act of cruelty to an exhibit;
or
(h) commits any breach of these regulations
shall be guilty of an offence.
2. A Sub-committee of three members of the
Societys Horse Committee, which members
are neither exhibitors nor competitors in the
Horses-in-Action Section, shall have power
to investigate offences and impose penalties
including the following:
(a) disqualifcation of a competitor from this
years Show and/or future Shows, and
forfeiture of any prizes;
(b) disqualifcation of an exhibit from
this years Show and future Shows and
forfeiture of any prizes; and
(c) any combination of the above.
3. Any person guilty of an offence will be
reported to the Equestrian Federation of
Australia (SA Branch), other Royal Show
Societies and the Show Horse Council of
Australasia.
4. This part of the Special Regulations shall not
derogate from the other parts of the Special
Regulations.
TRANSFER OF PENALTIES
This Society reserves the right to refuse entries
from exhibitors who are under suspension by
another Society.
1. The Society may in its absolute discretion:
(a) convey to any body any information
concerning any fne, disqualifcation,
withdrawal of a prize or ribbon,
handicap, reprimand, warning or any
other form of punishment (penalty)
imposed by the Council on or in
connection with any exhibitor or exhibit;
(b) convey to any body any information
concerning any investigation, inquiry
or hearing (proceeding) conducted
by the Council, whether or not the
proceeding was or has been fnalised and
notwithstanding that the proceeding did
not result in the imposition of any penalty
on any person or exhibit;
(c) recognise, act upon and enforce any
penalty imposed upon any exhibitor or
exhibit at any time by any body;
(d) itself conduct such further proceeding in
connection with any matter concerning
any exhibitor or exhibit, or any person
seeking to become an exhibitor or to
enter any exhibit, and impose a penalty
in relation thereto notwithstanding that a
penalty may have already been imposed
by that other body;
(e) enter in reciprocal arrangements with
any body in relation to any of the matters
referred to in (a) to (e) above.
2. For the purpose of (1.) body includes any
other society, organisation or body within
or outside Australia having similar objects
to those of the Society and in particular
includes:
(a) RASV Limited;
(b) The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria
Inc.;
(c) The Royal Agricultural Society of New
South Wales;
(d) The Royal National Agricultural and
Industrial Association of Queensland;
(e) The Royal National Capital Agricultural
Society;

(f) The Royal Agricultural Society of
Tasmania;
(g) The Royal National Agricultural and
Pastoral Society of Tasmania;
(h) The Royal Agricultural Society of Western
Australia;
(i) any breed association or society
recognised as such by the Society.
VETERINARY SURGEON
Judges and RA&HS offcials may call on the
Societys Veterinary Surgeon in respect to
establishing the soundness of any exhibit.
VETERINARY SERVICE
1. The Society will appoint a Veterinary
Surgeon to provide a service to exhibitors.
2. Should a horse become ill or suffer an
injury then the Societys Veterinary Surgeon
may attend to and treat such animal in the
absence of any authority from the owner,
and the Society or its Veterinary Surgeon
shall not be liable in any way for loss arising
out of such treatment.
3. Exhibitors may employ a veterinary surgeon
other than the Societys, but in any such
instance must inform the Society of the stock
concerned.
4. The Societys Veterinary Surgeon may refuse
to attend an animal previously examined
and treated by another Veterinary Surgeon.
5. Unless otherwise specifcally stated, only
the Societys Veterinary Surgeon may give
certifcates required by the Society.
6. All costs incurred in the attendance
and treatment of an animal shall be the
responsibility of the exhibitor.
INJURY, DISEASE
If in the opinion of the Societys Veterinary
Surgeon a horse on the Showground shall be
so injured or be so affected by sickness, disease
or other ailment as to warrant its destruction or
its removal from the Showground, as the case
may be, the Society shall be entitled to have
the horse destroyed and/or removed from the
Showground and/or shall be entitled to require
the owner to forthwith remove the horse from
the Showground. Any expense incurred by the
Society in respect of such horse shall be debited
to the owner.
Animals entered for competition must not have
been exposed to any communicable/notifable
disease/s at least 14 days prior to 1 March 2013.
SWABBING
The Committee may make or cause to be made,
any test of any exhibit at any time before, during
or after competition.
DRUGS
1. It is the intention of the Society that all
animals shall perform on their merits
without the aid of drugs or substances which
may affect their conduct, performance or
appearance.
2.
(a) Exhibitors shall not administer and
shall ensure that there shall not be
administered to their exhibit/s any
prohibited drug
(b) Prohibited drug means any substance
originating externally (whether or not it
is endogenous to the animal) which is
capable of - affecting the performance
or behaviour of an animal by its action
upon the central or peripheral nervous
system, the cardio- vascular system,
the respiratory system, the alimentary
digestive system, the musculoskeletal
system or the urogenital system, and
includes analgesics, antihistamines, anti-
infammatory agents, blood coagulants,
diuretics, hormones and their synthetic
counterparts, corticosteroids, anabolic
steroids, local anaesthetics, muscle
relaxants, tranquillisers and vitamins
administered by injection, but does
not include antibiotic substances anti-
viral, antimicrobial, anti- parasitic) with
the exception of Procaine Penicillin,
provided that sub-regulation 3 is
complied with.
3.
(a) The Society may at its discretion cause
an examination to be made of an exhibit
by a veterinary surgeon, who in the
course of such examination may make,
by such methods as he may determine,
such tests of and take such samples from
such exhibit as he deems necessary or
advisable. The result of such examination
shall be reported to the Society.
(b) An exhibit to which, in the opinion of a
veterinary surgeon, a prohibited drug has
been administered shall not be exhibited
without the consent of the Society and
shall be removed from the Showground
forthwith upon notice from the Society.

(c) An examination may include an
examination for desensitised limbs. Any
animal found to have a limb or part of a
limb desensitised will be considered to
have had a prohibited drug administered
to it.
(d) The owner or their representative may
be present during testing, but shall not
interfere in any way with the conduct of
a test, and will observe the instructions of
the veterinary surgeon on duty.
RIBBONS
Only ribbons awarded during the current Show
will be permitted on exhibits.
EQUIPMENT
Spurs and whips -
On the fat, all spurs other than dummy spurs
are prohibited. Dummy spurs - spurs must be of
smooth metal, shank pointing only towards the
rear. Shank end must be blunt for the prevention
of injury to horses.
If the shank is curved, spurs must only be worn
with shank directed downwards. Spur shank
NOT to exceed 30 mm in length.
Helmets -
All riders must wear protective headgear to
the current Australian, European or American
Standard. No other head gear will be permitted.
The onus is on the riders to comply with the rules
regarding helmets, and their insurance may be
rendered void in the event of an accident/injury,
if they are found to have been using a non-
compliant helmet.
It is the recommendation of the RA&HS that
inspections of helmets are conducted by
competitors/owners on a regular basis to ensure
compliance with the rules.
The RA&HS recommends that riders replace their
helmets after moderate to severe blows.
DOGS AND BIKES NOT ALLOWED
Dogs, bikes, scooters and skateboards will not be
permitted in the Horse area. This regulation will
be strictly enforced.
CORRECT ATTIRE
It is compulsory for anyone riding a horse
anywhere on the Showground including practice
and schooling arenas to wear protective headgear
approved under the current Australian, European
or American Standard.
Riders taking part in any competition must be
correctly attired in accordance with the class
conditions
FODDER
Exhibitors must arrange their own fodder
requirements.
CARE OF STALLS/LOCKERS
Numbers or any other identifcation marks
which may have been placed on or in a stall
or box by the Society, whether by placard,
painting, posting or any other means, must not
be removed, disfgured or altered in any way,
nor shall any other notice, number or mark be
placed in or upon any stall or box other than
by the order of the Society. Screens, rugs or any
other obstruction which may obscure the interior
of the stall to the public must not be used during
daylight hours.
Stalls shall be used only by animals entered for
competition and for the purpose for which they
have been allocated to the exhibitor.
The consumption of intoxicating liquor on the
Main Arena, in stalls, lockers and adjacent areas
is forbidden.
The observance of the above regulations will be
the responsibility of the exhibitor.
Infringement of these regulations will result in the
cancellation of the stall or locker in question.

STALL CLEANING
Exhibitors will, to the satisfaction of the Society:
1. Keep each stall allotted to them and their
animals in a clean and proper condition.
2. Clean out their stalls regularly. Refuse must
be deposited in manure bins provided.
3. Manure must not be deposited in alleyways
or general purpose rubbish bins.
4. General purpose rubbish must not be
deposited in manure bins.
CONTAINERS AND HOSES
Exhibitors are requested to supply their own feed
and water containers and length of hose with 1
(25 mm) fttings to use at the wash down.
FIRE PRECAUTIONS
The use of primus stoves, heating or lighting
appliances of a like character or any naked
fame, is strictly prohibited in the horse stalls and
lockers.
The alteration of or interference with any
electrical wiring, switch or plug is strictly
prohibited.
Precautions will be taken to guard against fre
and to protect the property at the Showground,
but exhibits will not be insured at the cost of the
Society.
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all livestock
pavilions and lockers.
No exhibitor or other person shall remove or
displace or interfere in any way with or use for
any purpose other than the prevention of fre, any
article or appliance provided for use in the case
of an outbreak of fre upon the Showground, nor
shall any exhibitor or other person remove or
alter or add to or interfere in any way with any
fxture, ftting, article, appliance or thing owned
by the Society or use such fxture, ftting, article,
appliance or thing for any purpose, other than for
which it is intended by the Society to be used.
Because of fre risk all stalls will remain
unlocked during the Show.

Property Identifcation Codes (PICs) are
compulsory for all South Australian horse
exhibitors. Failure to provide your PIC will
