Want to be an 1860s
baseball player?
By Dustin B. Heckman
You heard it here first! 1860s
baseball is coming to Goodhue
County on Saturday, September 6
at 1 p.m. Matches will be played
at Wakondiota Park in Old
Frontenac. Come experience baseball in its early days.
The Goodhue County Historical Society is looking for players
to form a team to take on the Union
team from around Minnesota.
Currently we have three confirmed
players with one potential. That
means we need at least six more
players. All are welcome to participate, as long as they are at least
16 years of age, regardless of athletic ability. Baseball in the 1860s
