Course objectives

Gain a comprehensive knowledge of the IOSA Program,

methodology and terminology, in order to effectively engage in
IOSA audit activities.
Develop auditor skills and techniques pertinent to the IOSA audit

Course outline

The training is presented in English over 5 days and includes a final

written exam.
Participants experience transfer of knowledge and practical skills
training on the following:
1. IOSA Program and standards
IOSA Program Manual (IPM)
Operational Management (ORG)
Overview of operational areas (FLT, DSP, MNT, CAB, GRH, CGO, SEC)

2. IOSA auditing techniques and skills

IOSA Auditor Training (IAT)

Participation prerequisite

Candidates for IOSA Auditor shall meet the prerequisites described in

section 3.3 of the IOSA Program Manual (IPM) (which can be
downloaded from the IATA/IOSA website).
Note: completion of the IAT course is not sufficient to be accredited as
IOSA Auditor. Affiliation to an IATA Accredited Audit Organisation (AO)
is mandatory
Participants not wishing to become IOSA Auditor must however meet
the criteria of ability and professional experience required by IATA for
this training.
