Classes for students aged 1 - 18
Baby Classes (12-24 months)
Music to My Ears
In this class, activities introduce your baby to the fun and
artistic foundations of music. Using Wingspans model of
engaging professional artist-educators, this class will be
led by a working musician with a gift for sharing his/her
art with young people...and their parents!

Pre-K (ages 3 - 5)
Fairytale Theatre
In this class we will learn all about fairytales! How are
characters created? What makes a fairytale entertaining?
What makes a fairytale timeless? How are historical fairy-
tales different from modern ones? Once we answer these
questions, students will create their own fairytales and
bring them to life on stage! At the end of the course, we
will invite our families and friends to come see our
amazing play!

MUSICAL MANIA
5, 6, 7, 8! Get ready for a song, theatre, and dance ex-
perience like you have never had before. This class will
explore musical theatre, dance and music and prepare
you for the Mini-Musical down the road. Not only will
you get the chance to work on your turns and time-steps
and acting, but you will also work on creating your own
original songs!

ACTORS TOOLBOX
Body, voice, imagination, concentration, collaboration. These are
the tools in the actors toolbox and exactly the skills we will be
working on in this class. Students will explore improvisation,
pantomime, creating characters, and how to dissect and perform
a scene. This class is great for the absolute beginner as well as
those experienced students who want to further explore their
craft! Class will culminte in a shared performance of our
work.

Musical Theatre Revue
Students explore new and classic Musical Theatre songs as
not only singers, but as actors as well; learning
to connect to and sell a song. Students work with a musical
director, director, and choreographer to create
a musical theatre revue. The class culminates in an invited
performance of our work. Students are
called to rehearsal as needed. They are often also asked to
perform at Wingspan events throughout the year.

Audition Prep
Are you preparing to audition for one of the performing arts schools?
Or maybe just gearing up for a school musical audition? This class
will get you ready! In eight weeks, students will nd and perfect a
monologue and 16-bar cut of music to take to your big audition. Class
culminates in a mock audition.

Cabaret Troupe
Students explore new and classic Musical Theatre songs as not
only singers, but as actors as well; learning to connect to and
sell a song. Students work with a musical director, director,
and choreographer to create a musical theatre revue. The class
culminates in a performance at an Off-Broadway theatre.
Students are called to rehearsal as needed. They are often also
asked to perform at Wingspan events throughout the year to
showcase their work.

Sketch Comedy
Hot on the heels of our very successful summer class, Sketch
Comedy is back! Inspired by such legends of fast, creative
storytelling as The Neofuturists and Saturday Night Live,
Sketch Comedy is a writing, performing, and directing class
all in one! Well write, cast and direct short original work and
record and edit them to share.
