DIAGRAM is any line drawing that shows arrangement and relations as of parts to the whole, relative values, origins and
development, chronological fluctuations, distribution, etc.

TYPES OF DIAGRAMS
1. Affinity Diagram i s used to cl uster compl ex apparentl y unrel ated data i nto natural and meani ngful groups.

CHART is any diagrammatic representation of relationships among individuals within an organization.

TYPES OF CHARTS
1. Time Chart i s a tabul ar chart that presents data i n ordi nal sequence.

GUIDELINES IN USING & CONSTRUCTING CHARTS & DIAGRAMS
1. The texts wri tten shoul d be meani ngful & rel evant to the subject bei ng di scussed.
2. Each of the parts rel ate to each other (showi ng rel ati onship).
3. The content must be age and learner appropriate.
4. For younger l earners, the use of pi ctures and i mages as di agram-chart wi l l do (e.g. Parts of the Body).
5. DON'T FORGET to wri te the FIGURE # LABEL and SUBTITLE of the di agram or chart.
6. DON'T PLACE COMPLEX materi al content on the di agram or chart.
