PROFILE

Fourth year student attending UCLA pursuing a degree in Art History. With over three
years experience in a variety of work environments I have grown adopted a variety of
skills in various work environments. As I approach the completion of my degree I have
focused an interest in museum education, hoping to acquire a position that allows me
to pursue my passion in both the arts and education. I wish to employ my knowledge
and experience with the intention of securing a professional career with opportunities
for challenges and advancements, while gaining knowledge and expertise along the way.

EXPERIENCE
Getty Research Institute
Library Assistant- November 2013- June 2014
I was hired at the Getty Research Institute to work in their extensive Arts library doing a number
of different tasks. I assist the librarians with duties that include: shelving, sorting, and organizing
the various collections library vaults; I also help with circulation and open stack sorting as well.

Craft Art and Folk Museum -
Project Assistant | March 2013- June 2013
Alongside one of my Art History Professors at Santa Monica College, I worked with him in
cooperation with the Craft Art and Folk Museum creating pedagogical tools for their upcoming
exhibitions while also discussing the current show and creating a guideline for docents and
gallery talks.

Fleet Feet Sports Burbank-
Sales Associate | March 2013- September 2013
During the transitional period between my transfer from SMC to another university. I worked as
an associate at the running store Fleet Feet Sports. My duties included general sales, and
assisting during special events sponsored by the store. I was also a part of the beginning runner
mentor program, where I helped train and guided a group of runners training for both 5k and
10k races.

LeBasse Projects-
Gallery Intern | May 2012- January 2013
I assisted with creating press releases for upcoming shows, installed and took down exhibitions,
and maintained the appearance of the gallery. I also helped artists associated with the gallery on
various installations and projects.

Boom! Studios-
Marketing and Production Intern | September 2011- January 2012
I worked on shipping orders, updating the website, and filled out book orders for clients and
customers. I also uploaded, formatted, and edited the upcoming comic book trades, hardcovers,
and single editions that were soon to be released.

SKILLS
Proficient in both the Microsoft Office Software and a majority of programs in the Adobe
Creative Suite. I also have a great understanding and utilize Search Engine Optimization as well as
extensive experience in social media marketing. I am also very experienced with WordPress.
With my experience in both a museum and gallery environment I am confident in my ability to
maintain and organize a variety of artistic projects while interacting with both the artists and
gallery/museum directors. I am great at working either in a group environment or by myself if
necessary. Working in the library I am also familiar with the Library of Congress classification and
cataloguing systems. My sales experience has also created an all around comfort in talking and
educating customers as well as the general public alike. I am dynamic in both group and individual
work environments, and truly feel comfortable and confident in both settings.
