PROJECTS

Passive Seismic (detection of natural low frequency earth movements, usually with the
purpose of discerning geological structure and locate underground oil, gas, or other resources)
and its applications under ISR, Gandhinagar from December 2011 to January 2012.
Workover Operation and Well Intervention under ONGC, Ahmedabad asset from May
2012 to July 2012.
A Comprehensive Study of effect of Well Spacing on Ultimate Recovery as a part of
B.Tech Final Year Project in 2012-13 (To understand the effect of well spacing on ultimate
recovery in a canonical manner, a single zone reservoir with N/G=1 and single phase fluid was
taken into consideration. As a part of study, two geomodels (dead and dry gas respectively)
were modeled with the help of Petrel 2008.1 software. To establish the optimum well spacing,
considering the economic factors.
Natural Bitumen Extraction from Oil sands reserves through Designer Solvents (To
extract oil sands, heavier fragments of the oil sands can be dissolved and their viscosity can be
reduced with the help of composite solvents/ionic liquids)
