ABOUT THE COLLEGE
PSG College of Technology, established in the
year 1951 by the PSG & Sons Charities,
Coimbatore, is one of the premier institutions of
the country and is an excellent centre for advanced
studies and research in several areas of
Engineering, Technology, Applied Science and
Management. The College has been granted
autonomy since the year 1978. It has 23 under
graduate and 38 postgraduate programmes. It also
offers research programmes leading to MS/PhD.
degrees in all departments. Currently more than
520 research scholars, both full time and part time,
are working for their Ph.D. degree. The college
has excellent infrastructure, well-equipped
laboratories and highly qualified and experienced
faculty.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Computer Science and
Engineering, with its dedicated well qualified
faculty, technical staff and students, is a center of
excellence in Computer Science and Engineering
through education and research. The mission of the
department is to help the society by educating
engineers with the ability to administer and
manage real world problems with latest
technologies. It has partnerships with leading
Academic Institutions, Government and Industrial
sectors. The department has established centers of
excellence in Open Source Systems, Service
Oriented Architecture and Grid and Cloud
Computing. The Department has collaboration
with CTS, CORDYS, YAHOO, TCS, EMC, IBM,
and NOKIA.

OBJECTIVE
The National Conference on Intelligent Computing
(NCIC 2013) will act as a forum for researchers
and practitioners interested in the advances and
applications of Intelligent Computing Techniques
to present and to observe the latest research,
results and ideas. NCIC unifies contemporary
intelligent computing techniques, highlights the
trends in advanced computational intelligence and
bridges the gap between theoretical research and
practical applications.
