Allah (SWT) has sent 5 books to the Rusul
Tawrat to Prophet Musa (A)
Injil to Prophet Isa (A)
Suhuf to Ibrahim (A)
Zabur to Dawud (A)
Quran to Mohammad (S)

Every book, except for the Quran, has been
forgotten or changed. Allah (SWT) sent the
Quran as a last book and Mohammad (S) as
a last prophet. Allah (SWT) preserves the
Quran in its original form throughout time.

What if a disaster destroys every book in
existence? Which book can be rewritten in
its exact form? The answer is the Quran.
So many people dedicate their lives to
memorizing the Quran, and so many
Muslims respect this Holy book. There is
no older edition and newer edition,
everyone knows the same Quran, with the
same words and even the same harakahs.

The Quran is the word of Allah (SWT), and it
is a miracle. From the time of the Prophet,
Allah (SWT) challenged people to make a
single ayah like His, and all attempts to do
so were laughable. Nobody was able to
step up to the challenge, even though the
Arabs were known for their knowledge in
the literature.

The Quran denes our relationship with Allah
(SWT) through Ibaadah (worship). Salah,
Hajj, Zakat, Sawm, istighfar, duaa, and
thikr are all mentioned in the Quran as
ways that we can get closer to Allah (SWT).
When we want to become closer to Allah
(SWT), we must do so in the way that he
told us to in the Quran.

Setting goals to accomplish a task is a
great way to be successful in life. Our goal
should always be to seek and gain
knowledge. Come up with the best ways
to this.

Some examples are: doing your homework
each week, learning new duas, listening to
your teachers, taking the advise of your
parents, reading Quran.

*** Please write 5 ways you can gain
knowledge this school year. You can also
use this space to list things you want to
learn.

5 things we should all do with the Quran.

1)To believe that it is the book from Allah (SWT) and to believe that it has
not been changed throughout the times.

2)To learn it. Rasullullah (S) says to us that the best people are those who
learn the Quran and teach it to others.

3)To understand it. These are the words of Allah (SWT) to us. This makes
them very important.

4)To apply it. After understanding the Quran, it is important that we
practice the teachings that are in it. Aisha (R) said that Rasullullah (S) was a
"walking Quran".

5)To spread its teachings. This includes teaching its tafseer (meaning),
tajweed (proper reading), and hiz (memorization).

Simply write down, in a few sentences, how you interact with the Quran on
a daily basis. Do you read it everyday, memorize it, teach it to a younger
sibling, listen to it, and practice what it says

The Quran teaches us many things:

Allah (SWT), and that He is the

one and only God. He created
everything, and we learn about
the characteristics of Allah. We
know that He is Al-Qadir (the
Able), and that everything
belongs to Him.

His angels. The angels are made of

light, they always worship and
obey Allah(swt), and some have
very specic jobs. Two write
about our deeds, one makes
rainfall, and one will come to us
at the time of our death.

His previous books.

The Prophets (A). These stories

teach us important lessons, and
remind us that we must believe
in all of the Anbyaa. There are
25 prophets mentioned in the
Quran, although they were
many more sent by Allah
(SWT).

In the Day of Judgment, Qada, and

Qadir.
*Start everything with Bismillah
Activity - Ages 4 - 7

1. Flip this page over and lay it down
horizontally. Get a ruler and draw a 1
mm long line in red at the far left edge.
Switch to green and continue the line all
the way to the far right edge. Label the
red line Duniya/This Life, and label
the green line Akhira/Next Life.
Under Duniya write the words
worship, patience, and hard work.
Under Akhira write Happiness and
Never ends!

2. Draw a cool backpack and color it
nicely. This is your bag for your journey
through life. Next to it, write down your
packing list. You can only write down
invisible things that can help you
through life in the best way. The more
things you pack the lighter your bag will
get so try to think of at least 10 things.
Some examples: knowledge, patience,
love
