In the case of Satur n the effects are quite the r ever se.

Sloka 33-34 - When any planet passes through a bhava, the
effects are as follows according to the number of bindus in
that bhava (inhis Ashtakavarga) :
1. misery;
2. loss of wealth;
3. anguish;
4. statusquo;
5. great rejoicing;
6. inflow of wealth;
7. all sorts of happiness;
and
8. perfection of everything

Sfojfca 35 - Find the difference between the bindus and the
rekhas. When the bindus are in excess by 2, the effect is
inflowof wealth; when4, increase in confidence, acquisition
of new friends; when 6, great valour, splendour, fame, etc.,
and when 8, one becomes a king or equal to a king with all
its adjuncts.
Note : Whenthe rekhas are inexcess, the results are reverse.

Sloka 36-37 - All planets whichare intheir exaltation, ownor
friendly houses and are also possessed of strengthby occupa-
tionof a Kendra, Trikona, etc., invariablyproduce evil results
if they are associated with very few bindus (less than 4).
Conversely, all planets occupying badpositions (i.e., 6th
8thand 12th) or their debilitations or inimical signs inrasi or
Navamsa, invariably produce good results if they are associ-
ated withmore bindus (5 or more).
Note : All the planets, howsoever will placed, or otherwise
powerful, produce malefic results if they are associated with
3 or less bindus intheir Bhinnashtakavargas. Conversely, all
of them, howsoever adversely placed or otherwise weak,
always produce benefic results if they are associated with5 or
