AFTER HOURS PEDIATRICS SUPPORTS ‘THE PAJAMA PROGRAM’

WITH HOLIDAY PAJAMA & BOOK DRIVE

ORLANDO, Fla. (Dec. 2, 2009) – After Hours Pediatrics (www.afterhourspediatrics.com),

providing urgent care to infants, children and young adults in Orlando, Tampa and South
Florida, is giving back this holiday season by partnering with Moms Like Me
(www.momslikeme.com) to help The Pajama Program (www.pajamaprogram.org) a
national non-profit organization that provides new pajamas and new books to needy
children.
After Hours Pediatrics is asking the public to stop by any of their five Orlando
locations (between 5 – 11 p.m. on weekdays and from 1 – 11 p.m. on weekends/holidays)
by Jan. 1 to donate new pajamas and new books. The Pajama Program will then take
these items to local shelters to be distributed to children in need.
“After Hours Pediatrics is in the business of helping children with their medical
needs and this holiday season we wanted to go a step further and do something special in
the communities in which we serve,” said Jason North, After Hours Pediatrics Executive
Director. “We decided to partner with The Pajama Program because they provide tangible
assistance, which is especially important in these trying economic times.”
With five centers throughout Central Florida, After Hours Pediatrics offers parents
urgent medical care when their children need it most – evenings, weekends and holidays.
Board-certified pediatricians provide treatment for the flu, broken bones, cuts, sports
injuries and more. On-site X-ray and lab services are available for added convenience.
After Hours Pediatrics’ extended hours are: evenings from 5 p.m. – 11 p.m. and weekends
& holidays from 1 p.m. – 11 p.m.
