Hi Everyone,
The below 3 books are the best books for SAP BI.
1) A Practical guide to SAP Netweaver Business Warehouse(BW) 7.0 By Bharat Patel,
Amol Palekar and Shreekant Shiralkar
This books will give you give complete overview of SAP BI 7.0. It covers complete
reporting(Query Designer, Bex Analyzer and WAD). Everything is explained clearly.
2) Data Warehousing With Sap Bw7: Bi In Sap Netweaver 2004s : Architecture,
Concepts, And Implementation By Christian Mehrwald and Sabine Morlock
This book doesn't cover reporting part, but very good book for complete modelling and about
the issues we get realtime.
3) SAP Business Information Warehouse Reporting By Peter Jones
This covers entire reporting.
This 3 books are enough for SAP BI.

I just went to buy this one as this is very expensive, of course now a days
which one is cheap anyway:). Is there any India edition to this book?

Hello,
Unfortunately, the book does not have an India edition.
My second book on "Supply Chain Analytics with SAP BW" is published in
India (Tata-McGrawHill). It should be available sometime next month.

No, there is hardly any overlap between the two books. The focus of the
new book is on exploring implementation of supply chain KPIs using the

books by Amol, Bharat and Shrikant on BW 7.0 and BW 7.3. And if I have to buy which

Go for the second edition, which covers 7.3, I don't think you need to worry about 7.4
as its focussed more on BW HANA
