Mister Fix Itumat Plus 502

High-quality, highly exible two-component cement based compound

for multi-purpose sealing. Suitable for positive and negative sealing,
used to seal water reservoirs, swimming pools, wet rooms ect.
Properties and main applications:

of Israel Ministry of Health).
nSealing of concrete walls as preparation for wet or dry cladding.
n Interior and exterior sealing of shelters and basements, sealing of concrete roofs
beneath ooring, sealing of open balconies, planters, kitchens and bathrooms.
nExcellent adhesion to infrastructures like wood, metal, PVC, ext.
nDue to the excellent adhesion to various infrastructures and high exibility, the
compound is used as a primer between cement systems and other systems.
nSuitable for sealing of the back of stone surfaces using industrial building methods.
Composition:
A compound containing minerals, cement and hydraulic additives + latex.
Technical data:
Capable of bridging over cracks of 3mm.
Adhesion capacity: approx. 2.55 MPa.
Elongation under maximum load = approx. 35%
Negative water Proong up to 7 ATM.
Infrastructures:
Concrete, concrete blocks, Ytung blocks, Silicat, plaster etc.
Packaging:
Part A powder: paper bags of 25-kg.
Part B liquid: plastic container of 10-kg.
Consumption:
About 2.5 kg per sq/m
2
with two layers of 1-mm thickness each.
For sealing against water pressure of more than 3-m water
level higt, a third sealing layer has to be applied.
How to Use:
n Thoroughly clean the surface from dust, soil, oils, loose parts and
any other containment.
nWash the infrastructure up to saturation and remove excess water.
nExternal defects, gravel pockets in concrete, areas around wires and exposed
reinforcement bars areas must be excavated and repaired before sealing is applied, until the
infrastructure is smooth and leveled using Mr. x Super Solid 650/651 (see specication).
nCoves have to be done along the line of contact between corners using suitable materials, 24
hours before the application of Itumat Plus 502.
nPour to a mixing container the content of Itumat Plus 502, part B. Gradually add while mixing with
a mechanical mixer the content of the powder bag, part A. Mix thoroughly to obtain a uniform
easy-to-apply mixture 0.5L water can be added in order to obtain good workability conditions, only
if needed.
n Apply the mixture to the side of the wall (positive and negative sealing) using a brush or trowel.
n It is recommended to apply Itumat Plus 502 using two different shades white or grey cement to
ensure complete cover of the area by the sealant.
nApply 2-3 coats according to expected moisture Preasure. The layers are applied with a time
difference of 12-24 hours, applied in cross coats.
Warning:
nThe product must not be applied when the infrastructure temperature is less than 5C and more
than 35C.
n In conned spaces with out proper ventilation, rst make sure that the rst layer is dry before the
second layer is applied (to accelerate the drying process, a fan may be used).

Workability:
About 1 1/2 hour.
Cleaning:
With water as long as the product is wet. When dry, use acetone for cleaning.
Storage:
Store the product in its original packaging in a shaded and dry place,
up to 8 months from the date of production.
