Reading: Strengths Derek's strengths in reading are his decoding skills or word attack.
Weaknesses Derek has weaknesses in reading comprehension, broad reading and fluency. His biggest weakness is in written spelling.

second time. Derek has a hard time paying attention during school.

he has a lack of focus and hyperactivity issues. She helps him with his homework, but it is a frustrating process.
