Chicken Paratha Recipe

chicken paratha is treat for non vegetarians who are bored with the same old vegetarian dishes
for breakfast.
Ingredients
Leftover chicken- 100 grams (shredded)
Onions- 2 (sliced)
Capsicm or green bell pepper- 1 (sliced)
!inger-garlic paste- 1tsp
!reen chillies- " (chopped finel#)
Chaat masala- 1tsp
$epper- 1tsp
%lor- 2 cps (kneaded into dogh)
!hee- 1tbsp
Oil- 1tbsp
&alt- as per taste
Procedure
1. 'eat oil in a deep bottomed pan. &eason it with grond pepper.
2. (hen add the onions to the pan and sate for "-) mintes on medim flame.
*. +dd the ginger garlic paste and green chillies. &tir to mi, and cook for 2 mintes on medim
flame.
". +dd the finel# sliced capsicm and sprinkle salt. -emember that the left over chicken alread#
has salt and then add salt as per #or taste.
). +dd the shredded chicken to the pan and sprinkle chaat masala on it. &tir and cook for *-"
mintes on low flame.
.. (hen take the pan off the flame and let it cool.
/. 0eanwhile make balls (abot inch diametre each) from the dogh. Create a depression in each
of the balls.

fingers.

10. 2ow heat a little bit of ghee on a flat pan and fr# the parathas.
&erve the chicken parathas hot with pickle and raita (crd).

Chicken bharta, side dish recipe:
Ingredients
Chicken- 2lbs (boneless7 skinless and chopped8mashed)
Onion- " (sliced)
(omato- 2 (chopped)
!reen chillies- "-) (chopped)
!inger garlic paste- 2tsp
(rmeric powder- 9 tsp
-ed chilli powder- 1tsp
!aram masala- 1tsp
:asoori meethi- 1tsp
Cmin seeds- 1tsp
(omato ketchp- 1tsp
&alt- as per taste
Oil- 2tbsp
Procedure
'eat 1tbsp oil in a fr#ing pan. &eason with cmin seeds. 5hen the seeds start to crackle7 add the
ginger garlic paste. &ate for few seconds on medim flame.
+dd 2 onions and let it fr# for few mintes (till it becomes pink in color and looks tender).
2ow add green chillies7 and sate for a few seconds. +dd tomatoes. Cook for few mintes till the
tomatoes become tender.
$t the pan off flame. Let it cool. +fter that7 blend it into a smooth paste. :eep it aside.
'eat the remaining oil in the same fr#ing pan. &ate the 2 onions for a minte and then add
chicken7 trmeric powder. &prinkle salt. 0i, well and cook on medim flame for )-10 mintes.

Cook at short intervals to see if the chicken has trned brown or not. Once the chicken looks
cooked7 add garam masala7 red chilli powder7 kasoori meethi and tomato ketchp. 0i, well.
2ow add the blended masala into the pan and mi, well. Cook for another one minte.

Procedure
1. 0arinate the chicken with salt and trmeric for 20 mintes while #o make the other
arrangements for this recipe.
2. 0ake a paste of the garlic7 ginger and green chillies.
*. +lso make a paste of 1tsp cmin seeds7 kalon?i7 mstard7 peppercorns and coriander seeds.
". 'eat oil in a deep bottomed pan. 5hen the oil steams add 1tsp cmin seeds7 dr# red chillies
and ba# leaves.
). +fter *0 seconds7 add the onions and sate them for *-" mintes on high flame. (hen add the
chicken pieces and sate for another ) mintes on medim flame.
.. +dd the ginger garlic paste and and mi, well. Cook for *-" mintes on low flame.
/. +dd the chopped tomatoes7 salt and red chilli powder to the pan. &tir nicel#@ cover and cook
for ) to / mintes on low flame.
1. :eep adding a few spoons of warm water as the chicken starts dr#ing p.
3. +dd the paste of whole spices to the chicken and mi, well.
10. Cook for another / to 10 mintes after covering the pan. =o can add half a cp of warm
water to it at this stage.
!arnish Chicken &kka with onion rings and green chillies before serving.
