Scenario for SKIRMISH !

The closing of the gates.


Note: this is a very large scenario with a lot of specials. It is however not difficult to make things a bit simpeler,
just halve the number of characters in all groups and delete their special abillities.
This scenario depects the closing moments before a siege. The defenders must try to bring supplies and refugees
in to the city while the advance guard of the attackers tries to prevent this. The terrain should be fairly open with
some woods at the edges. One edge of the table should contain city walls and a gate with a gatehouse!. "everal
roads connect this gate to other table edges. In the middle of the table may be a farmbuilding or something like
that.
The order of battle is found at the end of this page.
The defender set up as follows:
The garrison may set up anywhere in the city, including on the walls where the archers should have a nice
field of fire.
The #nigts may set up anywhere in the city.
$t the start of the game the gate is closed. It takes %& actions to open or close the gate up to two characters may
open or close the gate, they must be in the gatehouse!. Only when the gate is open may the #nights and the
'arrison sortie to help their friends. (owever, the defender must avoid that attackers enter the city)
The other groups may not set up yet but enter the game randomly. *oll %+, at the start of each turn:
-rederics -orragecompany enter on a , the first turn, . or , the second turn, and /0 on consecutive
turns.
*onaldus1 -orragecompany enter the second turn on a .0, and any consecutive turns on a /0
The refugees must roll a .0 to enter.
These groups enter at a randomly determined road at the table edges.
The groups of the attacker are numbered % to %2 see order of battle!.
The attacker must roll a number of +%2 each turn to see which groups! he may set up. (owever if he rolls a
number of group that is already on the table he may not roll again.

Note: this makes things rather randomly, but also rather fun.
