The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art / Exhibit Technician Feb 2012 Present
Fabrication and installation of exhibition elements for temporary and permanent
exhibitions in the Ca D'zan, Ringling Art Museum, Tibbals Education Center, and
the Circus Museum including platforms, pedestals and temporary walls as well as
brass, acrylic, and ethafoam mount-work

Shop Skills
Experience working with computer generated design documents for fabrication and
electronics applications
Comfortable manipulating a broad range of materials including wood, sheet goods,
acrylic, vinyl, steel, paper, fabric and brass using a variety of hand-held and
stationary tools
Familiar with MIG welding, brazing/annealing and plamsa cutting techniques with a
strong desire to learn further smithing and metalworking skills
Skilled in the use of pneumatic and airless spray-painting equipment
Knowledge of casting/moldmaking techniques using a variety of natural and
synthetic materials including plaster, wax, urethane resin, and alginate systems
